Chapter Fifteen

Authors PoV

Hugo held out a sheet of paper with the words 'Mission' scribbled across the top in a red marker pen "Do you really think we should be taking a mission. I mean we haven't seen Sage in days." Balthazar murmurs whilst he rests his chin on the handle of his sword "We did perfectly fine without him on our team. When he's ready he can come back" Hugo responds proudly as he puffs his chest out, he's knocked to the ground by Bonita who bursts in the room with an average height blonde males wrist held tightly in her hand "Guys I brought Karma!" Bonita cheers, the squad staring at her and the blonde Male stood beside her "That's karma!" They all shout in unison.

The reason they haven't seen Sage for a while isn't because he's got himself locked up in his bedroom it's actually because he's not on Jistilen at all. Having been overwhelmed with regret and remorse he actually left the planet and went and got himself thrown in jail in a random planet. As he stood there chained up to a wall, bars dig into the palms of his hands and into the side of his hip he stared at the ground, starvation flowing through him.

Bonita's introduction to the squad of Karma didn't quite go as planned, The Varian didn't quite understand what was going on as Sage wasn't currently present "Guys... sage isn't in his room." Amanda murmurs as she walks back into the kitchen Levi stands "He's probably somewhere in Jistilen let me call him." The marksman murmurs as he presses his phone to his ear he taps his foot 'contact currently out of radius of planet: Jistilen' Hearing those words sent a chill down Levi's spine "He left." Levi says straightforwardly, their jaws hitting the ground Bonita shakes her head and points to Karma "Use it!" She cheers, the blonde sighing and closing his eyes, an olive Aura appearing around him before disappearing as he opens his eyes "He's on planet Hilten... for some reason..." karma murmurs, Bonita grabbing the Varian's wrist and Hugo's hand "To Planet Hilten!" She cheers.

Sage's PoV

Staring at the dirty ground of the dark prison cell, ignoring the fading pain of the bars that are impaled into my hands and around various other parts of my body "Chow time Kageyama!" The prison guard shouts as he enters the cell, he shoves a scalding hot beef pie into my face "Eat like the animal you are." He laughs, closing my eyes as I look back down, the guard walks towards the exit before coming to a halt "Commander Jinx." He shouts, looking up I stare at the commander who's stood in front of a group of people "Here." She says as she gestures to myself I look back down at the ground "Sage Kageyama, like you asked for." Hearing her say those words I open my eyes and look up now, the group approaching me, my heart drops to my stomach and my eyes widen as I stare at Bonita and the squad, Levi stood to the side staring with wide eyes and a pale face at me, and...

Seeing his face angered me, more than anything, I came here to atone for my sins and he shows up. Standing upright now, the chains around my knees snapping, I pull the chains off of my chest, the bars out of my hands and hips and legs "Now, now Sage, I can see the rage in your eyes..." Bonita whispers as she raises her hands, the commander and the guard stood there staring in shock at how I just ripped off all of the torture techniques they used on me "Now I would be less mad if you brought him to Jistilen when I wasn't trying to atone for everything I have done. But here he is. Standing wearing that revolting symbol proudly on his chest." I growl, gesturing to him he sighs "Karma Philips." I continue, walking towards him he lifts his hand and rests it on the handle of his sword, standing at the side of him I lift my own hand and place it on his shoulder "Go back to your worthless battalion. I bet they miss their leader. Their backstabbing leader..." I breath before walking out of the exit.

Authors PoV

Sage felt somewhat betrayed that Bonita brought Karma to the planet he was atoning on. He also was full of anger that Levi was also here, Seeing him in such a weak state, it bothered him... more than he'd like to admit.
As he walked towards the ship-bay, blood still staining his body where he had been stabbed, holes pierced into his metal arm exposing wild wires. He didn't look like he belonged out in civilisation but at this point in time he didn't care.

"Sage!" He turned to look was calling his name and dread and embarrassment washed over his features as he stared at the squad running towards him, Bonita and Karma following silently "Stop being stubborn! Karma helped you!" Hugo shouts as he points to sage He flinches and steps back slightly "You don't know what I we-" Sage about to retaliate with a snarky comment He's cut off "Damn it Sage shut up!" He winces visibly at Levi's sudden outburst everyone turns to face him with shocked expressions "You made a mistake! You had a psychotic moment but your better now! However we need to know why your flames aren't blue anymore. So stop being stubborn, stop being childish and listen to Karma!" He shouts, sage's eyes widen as He stares at the smaller male, He look up to the blonde man who's stood looking at the ground silently, sighing He lean to the side "Fine. But after I've got my arm fixed." He grumbles raising his right arm to the squad who wince.
