Sage's PoV

Staring at the ground, my fists left clenched beside me, I hadn't noticed that my usually pushed back hair was now covering my eyes until I looked up at Amelia "Who's the father." I growl, Her eyes widening ever so slightly as she scowls "Jean Ross. There's no point in me telling you this because you won't know him but I know you won't let this go." She replies, swallowing a lump in my throat I shove my hands into my pockets "You have nothing to worry about anyway. It was a one-night stand, I don't mind raising a child on my own." She continues as she goes to turn away and leave I grab her wrist "Stop being stubborn dammit!" I shout now.

Whilst Sage held Amelia's wrist tightly, a thin blue liquid seeped off of his skin like sweat "I don't understand." Amelia responds, A sombre tone to her voice "Your mad at me because of what happened. Your mad because I didn't tell you I was Alive - but did you ever stop to think I might've had a reason." Sage rants on, The brunette standing upright when the Tall swordsman begins to approach her "What reason could you have for not telling me, your Rhikasen, that your Alive." She growls, her hands balling into fists "I know what you was thinking about doing after the war ended." He replies, her eyes widening as her pupils dilate she stops dead in her tracks "I..." she tries to speak but stops as Sage walks straight past her, her skin pale and her eyes still wide, The swordsman walks away without breathing another word.

Levi was furious, Frustrated, Pissed off to say the least, He was so angry he found himself knelt on the edge of a bluff, his hands holding Meliora close to him whilst he looked down the scope "Levi." With the utter of his name, His hands tightened around the grip and the barrel of the weapon, slowly he turned to look over his shoulder and stared blankly at Hugo, trying as hard as possible not to show his anger to the 'Handler' of the squad "What do you want Hugo." He says expressionlessly, his brows furrowed and his jaw subconsciously clenched shut "It's not the end of the world just because you was thinking of Sage." He says finally as he walks towards the sharp-shooter who's scowling even more so now "I wasn't thinking of him, I was noticing the advantage of having a demon in our ranks." He defends, lying to himself and to Hugo, who laughs and shakes his head as he sits beside Levi "Sage, as well as having a legendary presence and impeccable skills, is also a good looking guy. He's muscular, has a body like a Greek god, A good face but also he's kind, Despite being known as the demon dragon of wrath, he's kindhearted. You don't need to lie to yourself and me for that matter Levi , I am the handler after all." Hugo explains, some form of realisation hitting Levi he looks down with furrowed brows before exhaling "I hate that I feel this. Before he came all I cared about was getting work done, Meliora and shooting perfectly." Levi replies, a smile spreading across Hugo's face he shakes his head and shrugs "Change is inevitable Levi. You should know this the most." He says before standing and turning "Don't stay out too long, Amanda is cooking supper." He says as he walks away.

Sage walked home silently, his hands in his pockets whilst he leans forward, his eyes closed and his jaw clamped shut representing the anger radiating off of him. As he walked back towards the house, he noticed the stares from a group of drunken men, cocky and smug smirks plastered on their faces "Doesn't he look weird." One of them murmurs as he leans towards his friends, sage's brow raised slightly as he stops "Hey hold up... look at that symbol." One of his friends responds after noticing the marking on Sage's jacket "The frontlines assault squad." They continue to discuss his status before turning and walking away "This is new." Sage whispers before continuing his way back to the house.

Sage's PoV

Opening the door to the house, my hands still shoved into my pockets, my hair messily pushed back after losing my patience with Amelia earlier "Amanda you burnt the food!" Hearing Balthazar shout followed by a loud cry from a familiar woman I walked into the kitchen with furrowed brows "Oh hey Sage." Looking to my side at Hugo, Levi sat at the table he refused to meet eye contact with me "I take it we're eating burnt food for dinner then." Hugo laughs, sighing I shake my head before pulling an apron on "I'll cook. Stand back." I mumble to Amanda who stops crying and stands next to Balthazar.

Pulling the frying pan towards me I flip the food onto a plate before placing it on the table where the killers are currently sat, a buffet of pork, Turkey, Ham, bowls of different cooked vegetables scattered across the table "This is delicious Sage! Who know you was such a good cook!" Amanda chirps as she scoffs down a large amount of the food I cooked "This is great..." Balthazar breaths, his eyes sparkling and a small bit of drool visible on his chin "It's settled... you are now the house cook." Hugo says as he points to me, I almost drop the frying pan "What..." I whisper.
