The fifty-fifth anniversary for the founding of Jistilen is today and Levi had never been so excited about something his entire life. He hated his own planet an impeccable amount and moved to this one at a very young age. As he struggled to pull his trousers on due to his excitement, Sage lies in their bed, fully dressed and sulking about having to meet his adoptive parents whom he loved a great deal. Sage was excited to meet his parents but he was nervous and didn't feel like they'd like him, he is a murderous demon dragon after all.
Hearing a thud on the floor Sage jolted up and stared at his boyfriend who's lied on the floor panting, finally having got his trousers on "You have to calm the hell down Levi. Breath." Sage says as he helps the silver haired marksman to his feet "I haven't seen them in so long! I've been too busy with work and keeping you in line." He responds as he hits the swordsman who's acting offended "Well we're not getting anywhere with Juanita at the minute, she's vanished. So let's go enjoy some time with your family." Sage responds with a soft smile, Levi returning and grabbing his shirt "Come on hurry up. We're going to miss the train." Sage chuckles as he grabs his swords and holsters them to his back "Your taking your swords?" Levi asks, the black haired male turning with furrowed brows "my swords go everywhere with me, especially when I'm with you and especially since there's a murderous psychopath out there who desperately wants me." He responds, Levi nodding in response as he continues to get dressed, Sage lies back down on the bed, his arms sprawled out at his sides.
Sage's PoV
Following Levi into the train, his excitement radiating off of him like heat, it was unusual to see such a emotionless marksman become so excited but it made me smile. The governors allowed us a day off for this since Levi hadn't seen his parents in so long, I was excited and anxious but happy. I felt a lot of emotions I never really felt way back when.
Sitting next to the marksman who's shaking with excitement I wrap my arm around his shoulders "Levi, calm down." I chuckle, watching as he takes a deep breath he settles into my embrace and rests his head against my chest "I never really met my real parents. I heard they were big time sharpshooters like me but I hate my home planet, all they care about is preparing for war. I was taken in by these guys when I was just an adolescent - they were so kind to me... I think of them as my real family so I don't call them my adoptive parents and siblings. They are my real parents and siblings in my eyes." He explains, smiling I kiss the top of his head whilst tightening my hold around his shoulders "It all matters what you think of them Levi." I murmur.
Following Levi down the dirt pathway, the open fields full of life and making the scenery much more beautiful "What about your parents Sage?" He asks as he turns to face me I scratch my jaw "I - my real father is dead and I have no idea where my mother is. But I was adopted like you, I have two brothers and two sisters and both my parents are alive. I have no idea if I have any real siblings but I guess I'll never know." I explain uneasily, sighing as I stretch out he tilts his head "Where are your adopted family?" He asks "on this planet. I haven't seen them for ages, they always send me letters though." I smile, watching him nod he turns back around and grabs my hand "Maybe we'll go see them sometime soon." He says, nodding I close my eyes.
Standing outside a big house up on a hill, my arms folded over my chest as Levi runs up to the door he knocks lightly, the sound of someone approaching the door only adding my anxiety to my emotions, wincing as the door opens revealing a pretty woman with curly brown hair wearing an apron and salmon pink clothing "Levi!" She beams as she hugs the marksman tightly who's laughing lightly, I hear the sound of more people approaching through the house "Levi's home!" A small black haired girl cheers as they try to pull Levi in he grabs my hand and pulls me inside with him.
Standing behind Levi as his family sits in front of him, they glance at me every so often "Aren't you going to introduce us Levi?" His father asks as he sits forward I swallow uneasily "This is my boyfriend, Sage..?" Levi asks as he turns to face me, inhaling I bow slightly "Hello, I'm Sage Kageyama." I say as steadily as possible, his siblings eyeing me carefully "A boyfriend! Levi you dog! And he's good looking too!" One of his sisters laugh as she punches Levi's shoulder, the marksman winces slightly "So did you guys meet in the military?" His mother asks as she stands and shakes my hand I clear my throat "Uh, no, we met when I was on a mission. A mage was using a charm spell to trick people into thinking he was the Azure swordsman." Levi explains, their eyes widening "The Azure swordsman!? As in the demon dragon general in the frontlines!?" His father asks as he stands, I wince "Yeah, Sage could see through his magic and then I followed him and he caught me. I ended up buying him dinner and then he told me he was hoping to join the Frontlines so I helped him." Levi explains further on "So the Azure swordsman wasn't who you thought it was?" One of His brothers asks "No, Sage is the Azure swordsman.." Levi scowls as he gestures to me I flinch.
"what?!"
Sitting on the couch with Levi, his family lean forward "Sorry for all the questions that was rude of us, but one last one. Are you really a demon dragon?" His father asks, sighing I nod "The demon dragon one in a million from Bealaye. It's not the Azure swordsman anymore. I was nicknamed that because of my blue flames but they aren't blue anymore." I say as I hold my finger up, a small scarlet flame appears on the tip of my finger "They changed colour..?" One of his brothers whispers "Excuse us. We're being rude, allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Bethany Murray this is Lucas Murray, my husband. Over there from second oldest to youngest it's: Aimee Murray, Jackson Murray, Finn Murray, Harley Murray and Benjamin Murray." His mother, Bethany, smiles.
"So are you staying for dinner Levi, Sage?" Bethany asks as she approaches us "If that's not any trouble.." Levi smiles warmly "Of course, it'd be nice to have you here for once." She chuckles, Levi beaming as he grabs my hand "We're just going to put our stuff in my room." Levi says as he drags me upstairs. Sitting on his childhood bed I stretch "That was overwhelming." I laugh, hearing him chuckle nervously he sits beside me and lays back "Sorry about all the questions, they are huge fans of you." He breaths "It's fine, it's nice to know there are actually people out there who aren't afraid of me." I respond, laying back next to him he nudges me "Your a softy." He hums, shrugging I exhale 'not always...' I think before standing.
