I fought in a battle,
I fought very hard,
In a pool of blood
I lay injured
Death and destruction till my eyes could reach
But we were the conquerors
And I am proud of my battle scars

I lay frozen,
No sight of the horizon
I couldn't look beyond my shadow
No one fought beside me
And I hide my battle scars.
