Last night, I was kept awake by a memory
I don't know how it escaped my heavily guarded treasury
It took me to places I had not visited in years
It was like ice and fire to my greatest fears
It made me open the box below my bed
Filled with letters you never read
It made me tell your stories to the moon
Because when all were sea, you were the isolated lagoon
Then at 3, it made me right a poem for you
If I am brave, someday you will read it too
The sun started rising at half past four
And I locked the memory far secure than before
I wonder, if one memory can take my sleep away
What will happen, if all see the day
