(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up with a start, breathing heavily, and I sat up quickly. It was dark outside and I was in Levi's shirt. I began to sob uncontrollably, which woke Levi up.
"(Y/N)!? What's wrong babe?" He asked putting his hand on my shoulder.I pushed his hand off of me roughly, which made him even more concerned. "Don't touch me!" I screamed through a blur of tears. "(Y/N), please, let me help you," he said. His tone has suddenly become very comforting. I buried my head in my hands and he scooted next to me slowly.
Levi took a blanket and wrapped it around my shoulders, helping my shaking stop a bit. "Is this from what I did earlier?" He asked, worried. I shook my head, not wanting him to misunderstand.
"Do you want to tell me what's going on? You don't have to if you're not comfortable..." he trailed off.
"I just can't right now, I'm sorry Levi," I sighed."I understand," he said, putting his hand on my shoulder gently.
"Do you want to try and sleep?" He asked. I nodded and he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a laying down position.I nuzzled into his chest as he wiped my tears away, and he fell asleep shortly. I wish I could say I did the same, but I was awake for hours.
The next morning...
I woke up to see that Levi wasn't in the bed with me. I sat up and stretched, wondering where he could've gotten off to. I got out of bed and changed into my clothes for the day. Levi opened the door to our hotel room and sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked as he walked towards me. "We have to go back home," he scoffed, tossing a letter on the table. I picked it up and scanned over it.
Dear Captain Levi Ackerman,
I apologize for interrupting your well-earned vacation with your partner. However, there is an urgent matter that requires your immediate attention. Please come back to the Survey Corps base as soon as possible.
-Commander Erwin Smith
"What? But we just got here yesterday!!" I whined.
"I know, (Y/N), but duty calls," Levi sighed. "Your father has already sent a carriage for us, it's going to be here any minute now, get your things together."A few hours later, the carriage stopped in front of the Survey Corps' base. My dad was waiting for us at the entrance, with Hanji by his side. Levi and I got out of the carriage and walked up to them.
"Levi, it's good to see you. We have a problem," Erwin said.
"And what is it?" Levi asked, clearly annoyed.
"The king wants to shut the Survey Corps down."
