"Hey.. You came back!" Victoria grinned at me and sat on the stool beside me. I just stare at her and sip my piña colada.

"Ay bingi ka padin? Hindi ka pa ba nag-lilinis ng tenga?" Pang-aasar nya pero hindi ko padin sya pinapansin. Kailan ba mananahimik tong babaeng to.

"Whatever." She just said as a sign of giving up. There I nodded. Finally.

"So.. I didn't know that you and Ellen know each other pala ha di mo sakin na-chika last time." There she began talking again which made me frustratedly showered my palm on my face.

"Yung totoo bingi ka ba talaga? Do I need to repeat every words that I said?" I arched my eyebrow and tried not to be annoyed. This girl is hitting my boiling point.

"How did you know that Ellen and I know each other?" I asked calmly and there she smiles as a victory of me talking back to her.

"I often go to their place recently since ako yung bagong business partner nila sa tinayong cupcake/coffee shop nung partner nya. Sun right?" I was stunned when I heard her name again.

"Sun mentioned na you two are good friends and she's surprised na bumisita ka daw dito nagtampo pa nga at hindi ka man lang daw nagpasabi." I was surprised when she told me that.. Did Sun really said that?

"S-She said that?" I'm trying not to stutter but I freaking failed on that part. I know she noticed it but chose to ignore it somehow.

"Yes. Based on what she said..mukhang matagal kayong hindi nagkita. Why don't we visit their house this weekend?" She sounds excited. Why do I have this feeling that she knows something.

"I.. think that's not necessary." I simply replied at muling tumuon sa iniinom ko. I probably will just head back to Manila.. I still don't know if I can face her right now.. at this state.

"Ang boring mo! C'mon sakto may dinner kami this Saturday. Soft Opening kasi nung shop that day." Pagpupumilit nya. I just sighed at her. Madami pa kong kailangan asikasuhin.. meetings to attend to..

"I.. dont know if I can jo--"

"Sure! It's a deal then? Will meet at your place this Saturday, okay?" Hindi na ko nakasagot I was about to decline her offer ng bigla syang tumayo at inabot pa yung isang kamay ko para makipag shake hands na kala mo'y napapayag nya ko sa gusto nyang mangyari. Mabilis nya ring naipasok ang calling card nya sa jacket ko.

"Bye Deaf!" She said and walked as fast as she can away from me. She's so weird.. definitely weird.

"Deaf huh?" Ruby teases, nakabalik na pala sya mula sa table nung guy na hinaharot nya kanina.

"Let's go." I just said at tuluyan ng lumabas ng bar na iyon. 15 minutes nalang kasi at si Sun na ang mag-pperform. It's not really my intention seeing her tonight. I just need to grab a drink para makatulog ako agad.

"Yung isa, Mute tawag sayo. Eto namang bagong chic mo calls you Deaf. Napakalala na ng kapansanan mo hahahaha!" Ruby laughed at me while telling the story to Veron. She never stops teasing me hanggang makarating kami sa pinag-sstayan namin.
