Capitulo XII - La Oferta

Athena

"Ahora no Draven." (Not now, Draven) I grunt then look sharply at the car that is parking silently on the other side of the road

"Necesitamos Luna en la sede! And you know that Athena!" (We need Luna in the headquarters! And you know that Athena!) Draven frowns on the line. Grr, I want to punch him for crying like a baby on the phone!

" Olvidate de Luna!" (Forget about Luna!) I groaned at him then clenched my jaw, he's pissing me off! Why do they need her there?! I was about to say something ng may maramdaman akong presence sa bandang likuran ko. I hold the tea cup's plate in front of me and there I saw Sun's reflection quietly listening at my back, I smirked.. she looks like a kid listening to adult's gossip.

"Ella esta aqui, Call you back." (She's here.. Call you back) then I pushed the button on my earphone and nod at the black car on the other side of the road where Draven is.

"Sun.." I called her kaya natatarantang bumalik naman sya sa upuan nya which is nasa harapan ko.

"U-Uy kakarating ko lang he-he ano ng ginagawa mo?" She awkwardly asked atsaka kumuha ng cupcake, gusto ko sanang matawa dahil sa nahuli ko sya kaninang nakikinig sa usapan namin ni Draven pero hindi, I don't want her to feel embarrassed.

"Nothing, I'm just waiting for you.." I seriously said atsaka hindi sinasadyang matitigan nanaman sya. Hindi parin talaga sya nag-babago, she's still gorgeous and innocent yet she's not aware of that.

"We need to go." I said kaya naibaba naman agad nya yung coffee na hawak nya

"W-Wait, may lakad ka ba? Saglit lang naman Athena." I held her on her wrist palabas ng coffee shop at ng mapansing naka-simangot na sya ay binitiwan ko na din yung kamay nya

"Alam mo, Kung natatae ka pwede namang mag-sabi ka hindi yung na-ngangaladkad ka nalang basta-basta!" Dabog nya pero hindi ko nalang sya pinansin atsaka dumiretso na sa driver seat. I look at Draven inside the coffee shop who's quietly smirking at me, napaka-hilig talaga nyang mang-asar! Nang mapansin kong naka-sakay na si Sun ay nilabas ko yung isang arm ko sa bintana and throw a middle finger at him sabay sibat pabalik ng high-way. I heard him chuckle on the line kaya in-off ko na muna yung earphones ko. He really knows how to piss the hell out of me! I'm not sure kung nakita sya ni Sun pero nung hinatak ko sya kanina palabas ay napansin ng peripheral vision ko na napa-tingin din sya kay Draven noong makasalubong namin ito.

"Are you okay Mute?" Sun asked but I just nod at her, eyes are still on the road mahirap na baka may maka-lusot nanamang mga goons. Ilang minuto palang siguro yung nakaka-lipas ay nanahimik na din sya sa kakadaldal nya tungkol sa magiging trabaho nya, mukhang nakatulog na nga talaga sya. I parked the car besides the gate of the subdivision and silently glared at her, I tucked a hair strand at the back of her ear and pinched her nose gently.. I smiled when she frowns so I continued driving on our way to the Clarkson's mansion. I parked it in front of the house beside a black honda civic. I clench my jaw when I saw Stefan talking to his agents in the garden. They all glance at me in unison when I opened my car's door and took Sun. I asked one of the guards to help me carry her upstairs so he did. I put her comforter to cover her body and her blanket besides her, I chuckled lightly.. she always have that blanket besides her ever since. I pinch her nose atsaka lumabas ng room nya.
