Nothing Lasts Forever

Chapter 8

TORIS POV

I woke up to my kim possible ringtone

(AN My ringtone it is the coolest) I smiled as Lukes name lit up my Iphone 4s,

L: Heey Tee, meeting at Ashtons today in 1hour song writing and video ideas! Bring Em too see ya soon(: X

T: Morning Lucas, see ya soon

With that I got ready for a madness on my Sunday morning. No I wasn't going to tell Emily. Why should I? It's not me being selfish, it's just she went crazy at me for no reason and if it wasn't for my youtubing she wouldn't have even met the boys!

"Heey kid where you going?"

My mum called from the kitchen. I haven't had a chance to talk to mum like I usually do. I've been so busy lately that all.

"Just going to Ashtons for song wiriting and video planning"

"Alright I will pick you up at 3:30, spend the day there and we will go get coffee, I feel distant from you Tee."

"Okay mum, I'd like that bye"

I said before leaving.

I skateboarded to Ashtons he lived 15 minutes away, I was there in no time. I proped my board against the brick of his house before knocking.

"Toriii"

A chorus of 3 voices called out as Ashton brought me into the lounge. My eyes met Lukes's and we smiled at each other.

"Is Emily not comming Tori?"

Calum asked innocently,

"Oh no"

I said simply, making it obvious I didn't want to go into detail. There was a crash upstairs. Followed by giggles

"Urgg what now"

A flusterd looking Ashton rolled his eyes. Before walking to the stairs.

"Ashtons looking after his sister and his sisters friend Maddy who is in love with Calum."

Luke explained teasingly to me as I sat down between him and Calum.

Ashton, followed by his sister who I got to know as Lauren and the girl Maddie trooped back down the stairs.

"Calumm"

Maddie screamed

"Hi"

A clearly annoyed Calum replied.

"Who are you, wait I don't care. Stay away from Calum"

This maddie girl directed to me, I was about to defend myself,

"Hey! Cut that out! Don't speak to Tori that way"

Luke snapped at the girl before her and Lauren ran upstairs. Lauren came down and apologied for her friend and clamed that she told Maddie to go home.

"Right lets get down to business then"

Michael said clapping his hands together.

"We need to have a bit of a song written today so we can release our EP at the end of next month."

Luke said, before being dragged away by Calum and Michael.

"They are going to work on the song, we will work out styling for the EP cover." Ashton informed me.

I got bored while ashton was flicking through tumblr so I got a peice of paper that the outfit design was going to be drawn on eventually and started to doodle

'I know I shouldn't tell you, but i just can't stop thinking of you' I wrote all fancy like.

"Hey, what ya got there. Mind if I look?"

Embarrassed I slid the paper across the table for him to see.

"I like this, is it about anyone?"

He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Why not? I thought to myself. I sighed before replying,

"Yeah"

"Luke"

"How'd you know!"

I panicked,  if he knew. It must be obious!

"I just could tell, I have an eye for this kind of thing. You like him?"

"Yeah, please don't say anything"

I looked at Tori, of course I wouldn't say anything. I didn't want to loose my trust. Just like I wouldn't tell her Luke liked her back.

"Don't worry, I wont"

Time flew by and before I knew it I had a text from mum telling my she was out front.

"Sorry guys gotta go mums out front!"

"Awhh bye Tee"

The boys said as I hugged them all.

"I will text you later tonight"

Luke informed me as I hugged him goodbye. I just nooded and walked out grabbing my board and hopping in the car. Mum and I drove to the local coffee shop listening to the radio. Once we ordered our drinks amd sat down she said,

"Alright spill, what the goss"

(Sorry, forgot to tell you mum thinks shes cool!) I'll spear you the details, I told her about Luke, everything. She awh'd at what I was saying. Then I told her about the fight Emily and I had.

"Tee, she obviously is not a good friend for not supporting you. I think your heart knows what it wants. You know your feelings about Luke. I say you give you and Emily a break. If she treats you like this when you need your best friend she wasn't ment to be your friend. You have known her for a long time, just because of that reason doesn't mean you need to keep being friends."

My mum always knew what to say. With that we left the coffe store amd headed to the supermarket. As we where buying dinner,

"Are are you justtori?"

I turned around and saw a girl about 10 years old behind me.

"Yeah, I am"

I smiled down to her

"Can I get a picture, please?"

"Of course"

I smiled as she snaped the picture.

"Thank you, before you go. I think you and Luke would be cute"

She giggled as I thanked her and walked off. If only I thought. After dinner I went to my room,  lit some candles and read my new magazine.

L: Heeey

T: Hello Lukey

L: Miss youuu, it was boring today once you left ;(

T: Awhh you tooo. Hang tomorrow?

L: We have school!? :P

T: Hahah you do. However I was suspended

L: Wait, what did you do?

T: We where playing volly and by mistake I may or may not have knocked this girls teeth out opps :P

L: Woo fisty(; I thought you where a good girl

T: I am, I just haven't been caught

I teased back (AN Haha funny)

L: Night Tee (: Xx
