Are You Kidding Me!?

It's been nothing but quiet around here in Gotham.
Almost to quiet.
A few thugs were trying to steal a purse or something, but other than that none of the big shots were out.
Batman and Robin had split up earlier, hoping to find something.
But in the end, they came up empty-handed.

Robin was ecstatic.
Maybe he could finally get a few hours of sleep in before he had to continue searching for Wally.
Batman doesn't approve of this, but he knows he can't stop him.
Plus he'd be a hypocrite since he's doing the exact same thing.

They rendezvous back onto Wayne Tower, fixing to head home until they got an alert that someone broke into the jewelry store on the other side of town.
Robin threw his head back groaning, "why? Why now?"
Batman looks over at his obviously exhausted partner. "Robin, head back home."
"But-" "I have this under control. Go back home and get some rest."

"No way bats! I'm coming whether you like it or not. I'm not some child that you can just throw to the sidelines anymore." He crossed his arms with a huff, reminding Batman that he was just a child.
But he sighed through his nose, before swinging down from the building to the batmobile.
Robin smiled to himself.
Robin:1
Batman:0

They make it to the jewelry store.
Big, Bold, and Shiny
"They're just asking to be robbed." Robin snorted.
Batman let a soft smirk out, missing his partner's jokes and banters.
He hurries and straightens himself up, "you come from the back, I'll come from the top."
"Roger that," then he was gone without a trace, his cackle the only thing signaling he was there.

When Robin got there he instantly noticed the back door wide open. Either amateurs or they wanted to be noticed.
Both quite dangerous.

He clicks his comm. while going in.
"Batman, have you got anything?"
All he got was silence.
Not even static!
He clicks it once more, "Batman are you there? Batman?" Again nothing.
He stays on alert while slowly creeping forward. Slowing his breathing down and listening to any sign of another person. Any sign of a fight.

He didn't even make it out of the back when he heard a fight happening.
And it didn't take a scientist to know who's flirtatious comments those were.
He hurries up to go help when something dropped from above, landing on all fours.
The yellow-green slits meeting hidden blue.

"Catboy," he growled out getting into a fighting position.
All Catboy did was stare-no glare at Robin.
"Haven't seen you in awhile," he spoke again, hoping to get something from the cat-themed boy.
"What? No flirtatious comments?... Cat got your tongue?"

Finally, Catboy chuckled a bit before sobering up. "Dude you look awful."
Robin tensed, not because of what he said but because it reminded him so much of Wally.
His eyes narrowed in anger, "what's it to you?"
Catboy finally got up, raising his hands along the way.
A gleaming necklace shone in the light in his hands.

"I'm just saying... Don't want my Little Bird dying on me." He lets a smirk grace his face, his eyes roaming over the other's body, with what looks to be worry.
Robin felt like he was on display.
His cheeks heated up and he huffed, eyes narrowing, trying to will away the blush.
He did not miss the victorious smirk on Catboy's face.

"I'm not your 'Little Bird,'" He gritted out, "now... Are you going to give the necklace back or am I going to have to take it?"
Catboy's face contorted into a thoughtful expression until he heard the sirens in the distance.
He smiled a sharp-tooth grin, "catch me if you can Little Bird."
Then he took off, Robin in pursuit.

They made it outside, Robin looks over to see Batman chasing after Catwoman in the other direction.
That's when he realized they were splitting them up.
He smirked like that's going to stop them.
They jump from roof to roof, Catboy glancing back every few minutes to make sure Robin was still behind him.

Neither of them realized they were in the bad part of town, that was until they both landed on a roof and it caved in from beneath them.
Robin shot his grappling hook out, but a piece of debris knocked it off.
He started plummeting and they were quite high up.

He twists midair trying to find something to hold onto.
He realized the ground was getting closer, so he did the first thing he thought of.
He closed his eyes and waited.
He heard someone scream, "Robin!" in the distance.

He felt an unknown weight ram into him, flipping him over so whoever it was was underneath him. He glances up and sees Catboy.
They hit the ground hard, and Robin swore he heard a few ribs cracking from Catboy.
They rolled for a bit before coming to a complete stop.

Both boys were breathing heavily.
Catboy on top of Robin.
Catboy grunted a bit, before changing their position.
He ended up straddling Robin, not even taking notice of the new position.
But Robin did.
His face heated up and he felt all blood rush south.

Nonono! This can't be happening! Was the thoughts running through his head. I'm not gay. I'm not gay. This doesn't mean anything.
If Catboy wasn't so injured Robin would have done flipped the boy off of him.
He looked at the other boy's face, noticing how it was scrunched up in pain.

He was holding onto his ribs and his breaths were coming out in sharp gasps.
Robin couldn't deny that he thought the sweat pouring down his face and the gasps were hot.
He froze, willing those thoughts away.

He heard a chuckle come from above him before a hoarse voice choked out, "sorry Little Bird... Heh, looks like I caught you." He leans up a bit, so they were inches from each other.
Noses barely touching

A smirk coming to his face, "I thought I told you to catch me?"
The hot breath against his face was driving him mad. Not gay. Not gay. I am not gay.

Catboy leaned all the way up, shifting a bit on Robin's lap to get comfortable all while looking for the necklace.
Not once did he take notice of what he was doing to the Little Bird underneath him.
That was until Robin let out a breathy moan.

They both froze, staring at the other with wide eyes.
Robin's face was flushed a brilliant shade of red.
Catboy's eyes narrowed to deadly slits.
He shifted some more, rotating his hips a bit and finally taking notice of the other trying to hold in his moans, but failing.

"Are you kidding me!? Are you fucking kidding me!?.. Haha! The Robin. Boy Wonder! Is a closet case? Oh my god!"
"N-now wait! I'm not-" "don't you dare!" Catboy intervened, pointing a finger in his face, pain over his ribs forgotten at the moment.
"Don't... Keep the jewel. I'm out of here.." He almost sounded defeated.

He got up, breathing heavily while limping to the door. He held on tight to his ribs, not even glancing back to see if Robin was following him.
Robin just watched him go.
He looks to his left and notices the necklace laying under some rubble. He slowly gets up, picking it up along the way, before taking his leave.
By the time he made it out Catboy was done gone.
