Epilogue

Wally woke up to a pounding headache, before opening his eyes. He closed them with a literal hiss at the bright lights. 
A chuckle from his left was heard before he felt someone squeeze his hand. "When they said you acted like a literal cat, I didn't know if I should believe them or not. You can open your eyes now Kid."

Slowly he opened his eyes, turning his head to meet his uncle's gaze.
Barry sucked in a breath, "your eyes." 
He turned away with embarrassment before turning back towards him. The slits already back to their normal circular shape. 

They sat in silence before one of them broke the silence, "are you disappointed?"
Barry looked over in surprise, Wally having looked down at his lap. "No, Kid. Of course not. Granted, I wish things did end a bit differently, but I could never be disappointed in you."
"But I'm a v-villain," Sniffling a few times he brought his hand up to wipe at his nose. 

Barry ran and came back with a box of tissues, Wally giving a silent 'thank you.' 
"Wally... We want to help you. Be there for you from now on. The team is dying to see you, but if you want to go back under the radar then that's fine too. Just, please... Don't go and disappear again."

"You're giving me this choice?" He whispered.
"Yes."
"What if I decide to continue being a villain? Go back under the radar?"
A sharp intake of breath had him flinching away. "Then we'll do what we do with the Rogues."

Wally gave a small smile at the Rogues' names. They honestly would be jumping for joy if they heard he was going to be a villain for good. 
"I think I just want to be plain old Wally West."
A mumbled thank god had him glaring at his uncle, "sensitive hearing Uncle B."

The man started stuttering before they heard chaos coming from the hallway. Barry raced over, opening the door and seeing a very interesting sight. Stood outside his door was his ex-team and the Odd Group. 
Weird.

Isaac and Conner stood nose to nose, staring the other down. Artemis and Willow were screaming at each other at the top of their lungs. Jaxon was eating popcorn with Robin, who was leaning against a crutch, while Alex continued reading her book. M'gann and Nicole were trying to get Conner and Isaac to back up from each other. While Kaldur was left to deal with Willow and Artemis who went from screaming to throwing punches.

Batman stood in front of the Flash, scowl set on his face. 
"I tried to get them to stop, but Jaxon threw popcorn and booed at me." He turned to Wally, "stop them."
Wally chuckled before grabbing at his stomach, Barry ran over, supporting him as he got up.

"Kid, he didn't mean get up! You need to rest. You haven't eaten solid food in a while."
Wally chose to ignore him, limping to the door, while resting most of his weight on Barry.
Making it to the door, they watched the scene before them, before Wally took a deep breath in.
"STOP!" Everyone stopped and looked at the big cat eyes that Wally had on display. "Please.."

The team and Barry were shocked by how big Wally's pupils have gotten. The others, being used to this, rushed to Wally's side.

"Dude! How are you even alive-"

"Should you even be up?"

"Wally! We're so glad you're ok!"

"You fucking idiot-"

Wally was so confused by the bombard of questions he was getting slightly dizzy. Glancing at Isaac he saw the other just giving him a hard glare. Wally looked away before feeling himself be gently picked up. 

Everyone quieted down, while Wally was carried back to his bed. All he heard was Isaac mumbling above him about how they told him to stay put and how he was an idiot.

Being settled back into his bed was like an invitation for everyone to be crowded into his room. 
He sighed, he could practically feel everyone wanting to ask questions. 
"Ok... Go."
And boy did the questions start.

"What happened-"

"Where did you go-"

"Dude! You use to be Kid Flash?"

"You're Catboy?"

"I knew something was up!"

"I'm the worst friend ever-"

That confession gave him pause. Taking ahold of Robin's hand he squeezed it before responding. 
"No, you're not."
A silence fell, everyone wanting to hear what was going to be said. Wally felt Isaac start to let go of his other hand, but he held on tight. 

"Dude! I'm the reason why you ran away. I yelled at you and called you names when I should have been supportive of you. And I'm practically a hypocrite cause I-" he cut himself off, looking down, tears streaming from his eyes. "I'm sorry Wally."

He gently pinched Robin's chin, turning it back towards him. "Don't ever be sorry Little Bird. I agree though, some of the things you said probably should have been kept to yourself. But it was understandable. To me at least. But I forgive you. I wasn't... I wasn't going to be gone forever you know?

I was going to come back eventually. I just.. Needed to find myself first. I didn't stay away because of you per se. I just needed to understand... I'm sorry I made you feel like it was your fault." By the end, he was rubbing Robin's tear-filled face, before gently bumping their heads together. Pulling back he held out his arm, "hug?" 

Robin practically collapsed into him, apologizing no matter how many times Wally told him to stop.
He glanced at the others, "so.. Questions?"
And Wally sat there hugging Robin, holding Isaac's hand, all the while answering everyone's questions.

"What are you going to do now?" Asked Conner, after everyone had calmed down.
 Wally gave a confused look, "what do you mean?"
M'gann jumped up and down, "are you going to rejoin the team?"
Everyone, excluding Roy and Artemis, looked at him with hope in their eyes.
 Wally looked down, "umm... N-no. No, I'm not."

Jaxon asked the next question, "are you going to continue being Catboy?"
"No... I'm just going to be plain old Wally West from now on." 
He glanced over at the team, "although I will visit as often as I can. Can't get rid of the Wallman that easily."
"Not like we'd want to dude," mumbled Robin. 

Batman, Flash, and Catwoman entered, having discussed Wally's decision privately.
"Everyone should leave. Wally still needs some rest." Everyone started objecting, Flash chuckling beside Batman while Catwoman walked to Wally.

"Hello, Kitten," she whispered, petting his hair. 
He let out a content purr, "how long am I grounded?" He asked instead.
Chuckling she answered, "we'll discuss that later... But this is the last of Catwoman and Catboy, huh?"
"Only to them."

She gave him a confused look. "I do want to be just Wally West, but if the chance arises... I wouldn't mind putting the suit back on."
They smirked at one another, "slow down there, Kitten."
"Never."
