Jumping from rooftop to rooftop he was nothing but a mere shadow in the night. Cape swishing in the wind, concealing him further.
It seemed like the dynamic duo was back; Especially with Robin cracking jokes and laughing once more.

Seeing Kid Flash on the news seemed to have eased some of his worries. But once he disappeared again he was even more determined to find him and Flash refused to even peep at his whereabouts. But for now, he knew he was ok and that's all he could ask for.

He and Batman had separated a few minutes ago.
He reached up and spoke into his comm., "Bats, it seems like it's another slow night. Are you ready t-"
"HELP!" a male voice interrupted.
Following the scream, he was led to an ally where he saw some shady looking guy and Catboy?

Jumping down silently he noticed Catboy twitch, signaling he knew they weren't alone anymore.
"Don't try and stop me Little Bird. This guy deserves to pay."
"Pay? Catboy this just doesn't seem like your style. Come on, just let the innocent guy go."
He scoffed, "innocent? You think this guy is innocent?" Moving faster than Robin could even comprehend Catboy had the guy pinned to the wall reaching into his pockets.

Pulling out a few needles and bags filled to the brim with an unknown substance that could only be drugs.
Interrupting his thoughts Catboy spoke once more, "he also tried to rape two little girls... Twin girls of the age of 7 years old."

Recognition sparked in the man's eyes, "you were that boy that was with them... I swear I didn't do anything... I swear!"
"Liar!" Slamming the guy back into the brick wall a resounding smack echoed through the ally. The man left with a busted lip from where Catboy had punched him. "I did some research on you. Drug abuse, assault, drug trafficking... Rape."

The man cowered in fear, but tried to be bold, "so what? Why do you care? You're a criminal too."
A feral growl was the last thing they heard before Catboy had the man thrown on the ground. Clawing, biting, punching the man until he wasn't recognizable anymore.

The man let out a few pitiful moans and groans from under Catboy, snapping Robin out of his dazed expression.
Running to him he caught his wrist as he went for another swing. "Catboy! This isn't you! St-"

In seconds Catboy had Robin pinned down, the man forgotten, knocked unconscious and nearly on the verge of death.
Robin's hands were pinned above his head, Catboy straddling him. His eyes were in slits and his teeth were bared. It's the first time Robin's actually been scared of him.

"Catboy..." He whispered. Another growl was his only response before Catboy raised his arm to strike down on Robin. He used his now free hand to flip Catboy off of him and in return pin him.
"Kyle!" He screamed at the now shocked boy beneath him.

Blinking a few times, Robin noticed his eyes becoming less sharp, almost like he was coming out of a daze.
"What?..." Glancing at Robin with wide eyes he attempted to wiggle out from below him.

"No! You're not getting away until you tell me what the hell that was?" Argued Robin. The next thing he knew was that Catboy had slumped from underneath him, but his grip never slackened.

"You're looking a lot better Little Bird," joked Catboy, trying to ease the tension.
Robin's eyes narrowed, "Catboy-"
"Just call me Kyle since you revealed that little piece of information... But I only recall giving that name to one person... Blue Bird. Or would you prefer Richard? Dick?"

"I don't care that you know Catboy... Kyle."
'Kyle' gave him a confused look, "you don't?"
He sighed, "No, but that's completely irrelevant to what just happened a few moments ago."

Kyle gave him a curious look, "you've changed... Anything happen that I should know about in my Little Bird's life?"
Robin let out a huff, releasing Catboy in the process, "I saw my best friend... Well not in person, but on TV... He looked happy, healthy... I was just starting to think that Roy and Artemis were lying to me."
