Isaac was watching the computer while silently taking glances at Wally in his Catboy uniform. Was his outfit always that tight?
Selina sighed, "as much as I love stealing Kitten, you can't just go off and do it whenever. You need a plan first."
"I have a plan!" Cried Wally, "We go in, steal Willow's necklace back, then leave before the Big Bat and his Little Bird get there."
"Things aren't that simple."
"Of course they are!"Isaac tried to suppress a snort, but Wally heard. They glanced at each other with small smiles, before Wally noticed Isaac's eyes wondering down.
"Eyes up." Isaac snapped his eyes back to Wally's, who held a cocky smirk. "Have you gotten through?"
He glanced at his computer and noticed that he did get in. "Yea, only 4 out of all those cameras work, heck over half are just fake cameras put up to scare people."Selina leaned over in her own suit, "which ones are the real ones?"
Wally walked over while Isaac began to explain, "The one facing the front door, the one facing the counter, the one facing the back door, and the one hidden in the far back corner. That one practically scans the entire building, but it has two blind spots."
"I didn't even see that camera," muttered Wally.
Isaac smirked, "that's because it's hidden."Wally growled, which Isaac thought was just adorable. He was just a kitten after all!
"One of the blind spots are covered by the camera that faces the door." Interrupted Selina.
"Yea, but the other blind spot isn't being watched at all. You could easily climb in through the ceiling over there. It's not a big building so it wouldn't be too hard.""But how do you expect to cut off the cameras?" Questioned Wally.
"With this," Isaac pulled out what looked like a remote with three buttons. "all you need to do is be near the alarm system, aim it, and press the middle button. It will instantly turn off everything. Once you two are done, click the bottom button and everything will power back on. The top button just turns the remote on and off."Selina was impressed, "you really know your way around this don't you?"
Isaac blushed, looking down, "I'm really good at technology and other.. stuff..."
"Yea you are," said Wally in a dreamy voice, face propped up against his hand and a dreamy look plastered on his face. Isaac and Selina gave him amused looks, while Wally shook his head. "I-I meant to say that.. Er-Are we ready to go?"Wally was done walking towards the window before Isaac stopped him.
Walking over he placed a soft kiss on Wally's cheek.
"Good luck," he whispered against his skin.
Wally blushed, while Selina chuckled before she jumped out of the window.
"Um-Yea... You too... I mean.. Heheh... Thanks... Er-yea." Then he jumped out of the window.~~~~~~~
They both were in the ceiling, Isaac, who had his own earpiece now, was talking them through on how close they needed to be to the alarm system.
They both jumped down, neither making a sound, and Catboy aimed the device to the alarm system, a beeping was heard, before the light on the alarm switched to red."And there you go. The cameras and alarm systems are down and I can't see you guys anymore. So... Good luck."
The transmission was cut off before either one could say a word.
They crept along the aisles, towards where the necklace was last seen, Catwoman picking up a few things for herself along the way.
Catboy didn't have the urge to steal for his own needs, like usual, just that he needed to get Willow her necklace back.
The old grandfather clock chimed beside him and he howled like the cat he was.
A cackle above them cut off his growling at the inanimate object."Wow, you really are quite the scaredy-cat, huh?"
Glancing in the shadows, Catboy's ears twitched before he leaned back, a boot nearly coming into contact with his head.Catboy watched Batman jump out at the same time and was backing Catwoman away from the counter.
"How did you even know we were here? Are you stalking me Little Bird? I mean, I know you want me and all, but I didn't think you would take it this far. That's a crime you know?"Robin rolled his eyes, "Please, I have much better things to do than follow a little scaredy-cat around."
Catboy growled, "it startled me! I thought it was broken!"
Another cackle, "it was before I fixed it."
Neither Catboy and Robin have yet made an attack on the other, simply chatting like old friends, which technically they were."Robin!" growled Batman, having ducked to avoid a high heel to the head.
"Oh right!" And thus Robin threw the first punch.
Catboy dodged and weaved, not throwing any attacks of his own, but he continued to talk.
"Hey, how did you guys know we were here?""Funny. The owner called in saying a group of kids came in here earlier asking for a necklace and harassed him until he threatened to call the cops. So the cops sent us to make sure they wouldn't come back. We honestly weren't expecting you two to be here."
Catboy stopped for a second, gaping, before Robin kicked him in the gut, sending him flying into the old grandfather clock.
The remote in his pocket broke, and instantly the room was bathed in red flashing lights.
"Ok!" screamed Wally in a panic, "that's not what happened at all. We asked if we could have my friend's necklace back and the guy kept raising the price so we left."Wally had jumped up and was jumping on top of stuff, Robin throwing birdarangs at him. One got lucky and knocked Catboy off of one of the shelves. Falling, he groaned in pain, curling up and covering his ears.
"Too loud. Hurts... Why does it hurt?"
Robin ran over, before stopping, staring at the scene.
Catboy was shaking and covering his cat ears, a look of pain on his face."What's wrong?!" screamed Robin over the flashing lights and blaring alarms. He crouched down beside him before pulling Catboy's head into his lap.
"Hurts... Too loud.. mm don't know! This has never happened before!"
Robin brought up his holocomputer, "I'll fix it."A few seconds later the alarms were shut off and the only sound that could be heard was Batman and Catwoman still fighting.
Robin caressed Catboy's face, "hey... Hey, open your eyes KitKat. Come on, it's off.."
A whimper escaped his lips before he slowly opened his eyes."There you go.. How are you feeling?"
"I have a ringing in my ears and a pounding headache.." Then he noticed their position. "Heh, look at us. In this position, we kinda look like a couple."
Robin snorted, "let's not go that far. You're not exactly my type."
"I guarantee that bad boys are definitely your type... Or redheads..."Robin snorted, "oh yes, Red Arrow is just so hot, and definitely my type."
"Fuck you!"
"Maybe later."
A stunned silence fell over them, Robin blushed at the grin that came over Catboy's face. "Are you offering?"
"N-No."Catboy leaned up close, "don't worry, I won't take advantage of you... Unless you want to be taken advantage of.." Then he pecked Robin on the lips before jumping up and flipping over to the counter.
"I'll be taking this," he grabbed the necklace before glancing up at Robin who was just staring at him in a daze. "I'll keep you up on that offer." Then he jumped up into the ceiling once more yelling for Catwoman to follow him.Batman stalked up to Robin once they were gone, "what happened?"
Snapping him out of his daze he stuttered out a response, "huh? O-oh nothing. Nothing at all..."
He walked over to the counter before placing $1000 down. "He went about it the wrong way, but he was just doing it for his friend." And walked away, Batman hot on his trail.
