*With the team a few days after the vacation*

Artemis was finally able to corner Roy.
Ever since that day when Robin came out and she was told of the red and black-haired cat-themed villain, she had her suspicion. And Roy's reaction was just the icing on the cake. She just needed confirmation for the cherry on top.

"Roy-"
"No." He interrupted, arms folded and face set in a poker face. They were both alone in the kitchen at the moment. M'gann and Conner having gone out with Conner's new companion, Wolf. While Robin and Kadur continued to train a bit more.

"I haven't even-"
"Don't care, end of discussion."
He goes to walk around her, but she stepped in his path, a growl ripping from his throat.
"The more you run, the more you're proving my suspicions right."
He scoffed, "what are you suspicious about? What? Are we bringing this whole mole situation back? Think I'm the mole?"

Glaring she answered without hesitance, "is Wally Catboy?"
Roy didn't even flinch, "no."
Artemis gave an unimpressed look, "really now?" She holds up her hand, counting off, "Wally gets hit by animal splicing DNA and he comes out without being affected? Then we have a new cat-themed villain who ironically appears to be the same age as Wally. Wally more or less lives in Gotham now. Oh, and when I saw him he had red and black hair all of a sudden. Just like Catboy did at the party. You were looking for someone at the part-"

"Ok-OK... Are you done?"
"For now," she answered with a smirk. "So... Is he?"
Roy sighed, "'sorry Walls.' And what if he is?"
A look passed over her face, "Roy-"
"He's happy Artemis. I know it's wrong, but he's truly happy. I don't want his happiness took from him."
"I guess I can see your point. But a villain? Who would have thought?"
Roy snorted, "yea." They both leaned against the counter, each in their own minds.

*With Wally*

Wally and the rest of the "Odd Group" as they demand being called, were walking around Gotham. Going in and out of stores, Wally noticed Jaxon and Willow stealing a few items, but he didn't stop them.

They entered an old, rundown thrift shop, Jaxon having stayed outside to finish his cigarette he stole.
Glancing at the old clock in front of him that reminded him of Bruce, he heard a gasp coming from Willow upfront.
Walking up towards her and Alex he overheard her asking the clerk about a necklace.

"Where did you get this necklace?" She demanded.
The man, not being disturbed in the slightest, looked up from his glasses. "That old thing? That was brought in about 14 years ago. It was last seen on a women's dead body. Nobody wants it, and those who did buy it brought it back, claiming it to be haunted."

Willow mumbled to herself, "well... It's beautiful, but if it's claimed to be haunted then it must be special... But also cheap. How much?"
Raising an eyebrow the man answered without blinking, "$450."
Stuttering Willow screeched, "$450?! But that's my mother's necklace. It was an heirloom."

The man rubbed his chin, "your mother's huh? And an heirloom... Well if you say that- $600."
"Wha-" "620."
By then everyone was crowded around the counter, Jaxon having finally come inside.
"Hey man, you can't keep raising the price like that!" Argued Isaac.

The man gave him a mocking look, "can't I though? Look if you don't have the money then I suggest you leave."
"I'll leave when I-mph!" Wally had placed his hand over Willow's mouth and dragged her away from the counter. Nicole and Alex followed while Isaac and Jaxon stayed behind to negotiate.

"Wally! Why did you drag me away!? I was just about to show that guy where my fucking boot was about to go!"
Placing a gentle hand over her mouth Wally spoke, "he's just going to keep raising the price. The more valuable it is to you the higher it goes... But, you don't necessarily have to pay for it you know?"

"What?... Wait, do you mean like steal it? If that were the case I would have done that by now. I know you've been watching me and Jaxon, but this place is littered with cameras. I don't even know if they actually work or not."
"But what if I had a way?"

Willow and Alex gave confused glances towards each other.
"How?" They asked.
Wally smiled, "it's a secret."
Nicole proceeded to scold Wally for suggesting such a thing while Willow and Alex kept giving him weird glances.
Jaxon and Isaac finally returned, looking defeated.

"He nearly raised it to $1000." Answered Isaac, "I'm so sorry Willow."
Willow, having seemed to make up her mind, turned to Wally. "As long as you know what you're doing and have an exit. Please... It's the only thing I have left of her now that I've found it."

Jaxon and Isaac gained identical expressions of confusion before Isaac turned to Wally with wide eyes.
Wally subtly shook his head no, before smiling towards Willow, "I do. Trust me."
Nodding her head, she turned, walking towards the door. Jaxon and Nicole trailed behind her while Isaac and Alex stayed behind with Wally.

"Isaac, can I speak to Wally alone?" Asked Alex before turning to Wally, "or does he know?"
Wally gave a confused look, "know what?"
"That's either a yes or a no." she deadpanned.
"What do you know?" Asked Isaac suspiciously.
Raising an eyebrow she answered, "I know what the twins told me."

Wally's face dropped in panic before urgently whispered, "the twins told you!?"
Glancing at Isaac he gave a polite smile, "excuse us." Before dragging Alex a bit ahead of Isaac.
"What did the twins tell you?"
"Relax Wally. The twins kept your secret up to the point until I figured it out. And I think Willow knows too since she was there." explained Alex.
"Wait... How?"

She gave him an unimpressed look, "you and Selina go to Central City, then Kid Flash, who has been missing for months, finally returns. Not that hard to put two and two together."
Wally scratched the back of his neck, "Yea... Yea that's-look you can't tell anybody. Please. Isaac actually doesn't know."

Alex's face morphed to a shocked one before it returned to her scowl. "Ok... But you will tell him eventually, right? Considering you are using your speed to steal Willow's necklace back, right?"
She kept enunciating the right bit. All Wally could do was sigh, "right."

She gave a stiff nod, before speeding up to catch up with Willow and them.
Isaac came walking up to Wally, "so Alex knows?"
Wally stayed silent, "no... She knows something else though.."
Isaac gave a confused look, "do I know this something else?"

The flinch was all Isaac needed, "oh.."
"I promise I'll tell you eventually! Just... Baby steps. Ya know?"
Isaac grabbed hold of Wally and pulled him under his arm before placing a soft kiss on his temple. "I know."

And Wally, for once, didn't push him away. Didn't mention about his confused thoughts about Robin. In fact, he didn't even think about him at all in the situation. He simply buried into Isaac's side, let his arms wrap around his waist, and let a content sigh leave his lips.
