Wow! I really loved this story! I admire the way you write! You write the scenes so beautifully and it's like your painting a picture in my mind.

I like your plot and your main character is likeable. You explained her feelings really well and also described the scene where she died really well! Great job! There really isn't much to critique on...

Just saying, I read on to chapter 2 (Yup, that's how much I liked it) and I liked how it all connected and made sense. There were a few grammar errors in chapter 2 but overall it was really good.

Just a thought, maybe you could make your first chapter a prologue. It sounds like one because it has information about why the story happened... I don't know. Just a thought.
