JENNIE KIM

"Thanks for helping. I know I haven't been active for a while and th-"

"It's okay." Sunmi unnie interrupted.

"It's not like you haven't helped us before. We owe you our lives, remember?" she added, winking at me.

"Don't mention it, Jen." Taemin oppa said, ruffling my hair.

Both of them helped me through my teenage years and treated me like their own sister. They've been married for about 5 years already and are still oozing with sex appeal. The three of us are part of a gang or group or whatever you wanna call a bunch of people who does illegal things for fun and also for good purpose.

I looked at the both of them and smiled before looking at the bastard that's full of bruises already. Scowling at the thought of this animal breathing the same air as us.

"When's Chaeng gonna get here?" Taemin oppa asked, casually sitting down on one of the chairs scattered around.

"Any minute now..." I replied, still looking at the bastard.

God knows how much I want to murder him right now for teaming up with them. At such a young age, he managed to almost kill a grown adult with his own hands. He was also one of the people who once beat me, Chaeng and Rosé up when we were strolling through the streets back in the US. But he never got caught. Not once. Until now.

The door barged open revealing Chaeng, still in business attire looking all sophisticated, with a steel bat in his hand and a cold expression on his face as he took slow and heavy steps towards JB.

"Ignoring us now, huh?" Taemin oppa teased, catching his attention.

"Oh... Didn't notice you guys." he said, bowing.

"Why are the two of you here?" he asked, earning a laugh from the two.

"They helped me." I said, crossing my arms against my chest.

"Mmm. Kay then." he said before he turned his attention again towards JB.

He walked towards him before looking at me, as if asking for permission.

"What?" I asked, easing an eyebrow.

"Can I?" he asked back, looking at me with his huge eyes and pouting like a baby.

"This is what I called you for, right?" I said, smirking at him.

He then clapped his hands like a kid on Christmas day and walked back towards us before hugging us one by one and then ran towards JB before taking his anger out. Not gonna put it on detail, but let's just say that a few guys needed to get a hold on the cub just to stop him.

"Calm down. We still need to question him." I said, grabbing a hold on his upper arm.

"I thought you said-"

"Never said anything about you beating the crap outta him." I cut off, looking at him with seriousness.

"Fine."

IM NAYEON

Me and Mark were now heading towards the ice cream parlor. We just finished shopping and he bought me the things I picked out without any hesitation. To be honest, he's really spoiling me.

As he parked his car, he immediately got out and walked towards my side before opening the car door for me. Such a gentleman. He then lent me his hand as he helped me get out, even shielding my head in case I bump myself. After that, he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and even opened the door for me. Then something came in my head.

Jeongyeon used to do these for me...

He may not buy everything I like, he may not give me what I want and he may not be the touchy type. But he still did all these things for me.

Wiping my lips when I get food or drinks on it, holding my hand when I walk down the stairs, opening doors for me, pulling out my chair, combing my hair sometimes, fixing my shirt, putting lipstick on me, giving me piggy back rides. These were what he spoiled me with. We may not have lasted, but these memories will forever be embedded in my head. He was my first love. And every firsts won't ever be forgotten.

Dammit! Now I'm not in the mood to hang out with him...

"Hey. You're spacing out again. What's wrong?" Mark asked in a gentle tone, cutting my thoughts.

Oh sorry... I was just thinking about how Jeong used to do simple things for me and about how he'll forever be my first.

"Sorry. Nothing's wrong." I replied, giving him a smile.

"Oh. Well, okay then. Why don't we find ourselves a table, then I'll get the flavor you want, deal?" he said, nothing my smile.

"Deal."

Sure enough, we found ourselves a table near the back and he immediately asked me what I wanted. Not even pulling out the chair for me. Unlike Jeong...

Stop comparing them!

"I'll just have anything that has cream cheese pieces." I said, giving him a tight lipped smile.

"Okie Dokie then!"

YOO JEONGYEON

"Tzuyu... When do you know it's time to leave?" I asked before he could say what I needed to do.

"When you have more reasons to leave than to stay." he replied, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Then-"

"Then don't give her any more reasons to leave when you actually want her to stay." he interrupted.

"Okay..." I muttered, looking down.

"Why? We're you planning to?" he asked, making me look at him with wide eyes.

"What? No!" I said, shaking my head.

"Then what is it?" he asked.

"It's just..." I started.

"It's just that you're scared you're already giving her enough reasons to?" he asked, raising both of his eyebrows.

"Yeah..." I whispered, clenching my fists.

"Hyung, if you really love someone, then you have to be prepared to get hurt." he said, sighing.

"A boy would run but a real man's gonna stay. So which one?" he added.

"What?"

"Which one are you?"

That made me stop. I've never thought about that. It's true that an immature boy would run when faced with responsibilities and is possible to cower away. But a real man would stay and face everything. It's also true that if you really love someone, you have to be prepared to get hurt. But, how many times do we have to get hurt to prove that we really do love someone?

"Don't answer that." he suddenly said, snapping me out of my confusing thoughts.

"I-"

"Look, I don't expect you to answer right away. In fact, I don't even need your answer. You're the one that needs it to set things straight." he said, patting my shoulder.

"I know you and Nayeon noona didn't really last, but you guys made great memories together. Memories that won't easily fade." he added.

"That's why if I were you, I would make an effort to make things right. If you still have feelings for her, and she still has feelings for you, then do what you think what's right." he finished before shooing me out of his room.

"Wait! You still have to tell me what to do." I said.

"Oh... Thought you'll forget about it." he muttered but clear enough for me to hear.

Dick...

"Let's make it quick then..."
