Chapter 46

MIN YOONGI

I woke up, feeling thirsty and decided to go down and get a glass of water then continue sleeping. I looked at my phone for the time and saw that it's almost time for the twins to wake up.

"Hey..." I greeted, walking down the stairs.

"Hello oppa." Jihyo-ssi greeted back and bowing a bit.

She was standing in front of the fridge while it's open. Probably getting something.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked.

"Uhm... I'm an early riser oppa." she answered.

"Would you want me to cook up something for you?" she asked.

"No need Jihyo-ssi. I can just order take out. What about you? I couldn't eat what you cooked last night, so why don't I cook something for you instead?" I said, giving her a smile.

"Oh... No need oppa. I'll cook." she insisted.

"Come on, I'll do it. Just tell me what you want to eat. I'll be done in no time. Promise."

She tilted her head and in a few seconds shook her head and gave me a smile.

"Chicken please..." she said, shyly.

"Coming right up ma'am!" I said, saluting like a soldier.

I don't know why, but even if we just met yesterday, I can't help but fell comfortable with her. I'm not like this with anyone, especially a girl but I dunno... She's an exception. I don't know if it's because she's Chaeng's friend or because she's pretty and kind.

Whatever it is, I don't care.

"Jihyo-ssi... Can you wake them up? Breakfast is ready." I said, taking the apron off.

"Okay oppa. I'll just set up the table."

"No need. I'll do it. It's been a while since I've done this anyway." I said.

"Okay then. The plates are right over there." she said, pointing to a high cabinet before heading towards the stairs.

I took out five plates and arranged them on the table, same with the forks and spoons, then grabbed the glasses and a pitcher.

When I finished, I heard footsteps running down the stairs before the kids sat around the table with me and the boys on one side and the girls across from us.

"What time are you guys gonna leave?" Namjoon asked, chewing his food.

"Maybe around 7:45 oppa. Chaeng still has to finish and pass his painting and Jihyo unnie and I have to go practice for vocal lessons later." Rosie said.

So Jihyo-ssi's a singer ey...?

"Well... You guys still have an hour, so better hurry up and get ready." I said, checking my phone.

"I'll wash the dishes when you guys are done eating." Namjoon said.

"Thanks hyung." Cub said, offering him a smile.

"No problem bud." Joon replied, matching his smile.

After we we're all done eating, Chaeyoung, Rosé and Jihyo-ssi went to their rooms and got ready while I laid on the couch with Namjoon washing the dishes. I set my alarm for 10 minutes so I could get some sleep while they get ready.

Me and Namjoon actually has plans for today. He'll go to Seulgi for a bit, discussing the plan about helping Jin hyung faster while I head towards Lisa to write some songs.
