KIM DAEHAN
Me and Dada woke up the next morning and settled on a specific time for me and Mr. Jeon to meet up. The settled time was at lunch time since we had to consider Mr. Jeon's time. He is a busy man afterall.
Busy running in my Dada's head...
Me being the obedient boy I am, waited until lunch time and even helped my grandmama with the chores around the house. Dada looked like he was panicking the whole morning. How would a kid know? Simple. He kept fidgeting.
Does he really think he can hide everything from me?
It wasn't hard to crack dada. He's an open book for me. Though I've never seen my real mama with my own two eyes, he kept showing me a few pictures of her. Even if I never asked. The reason I said what I said last night... was to -in a way- comfort him.
I know for a fact that my mama will never wake up from her grave and hug my dada as if saying it's okay because that is impossible to happen. So I did it on my own. I just hope she's proud of me for setting up the man she loved with the person he claims to have loved, though I know his feelings are still there.
THIRD PERSON
"Daehan... Why do you wanna meet him?" Taehyung asked as he gently held his son's shoulders while looking at him in the eye.
"Why do you wanna know so bad?" Daehan asked instead.
"Why don't you wanna tell me?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Why shouldn't you? I'm your father."
"Then man up. I'm just gonna meet him. If you don't love him anymore... then prove it." Daehan said one last time before he kissed Taehyung on his forehead and left his room.
Daehan headed straight towards his grandmother's room and knocked on her door. When he heard the come in from the other side, he pushed her door open and closed it before he walked towards her bed where she was sitting on.
"Let me guess... You talked back to your Dada again, didn't you?" his grandmother asked, giving him her cheeky smile.
"I never said you couldn't guess grandma..." Daehan muttered, receiving a light smack on his back.
"Aish... Look at this boy. I bet your Uncle Jin is rubbing off on you. Tsk. I better not invite those boys over anymore." his grandmother said, crossing her arms.
"Then don't. This is your house anyway. Just let me meet Mr. Jeon first before you do that." Daehan said, looking down before he heard the old lady let out a deep sigh.
"Tell me Daehan. Tell me the reason why you want to meet him. It can't be because your curious about him." she demanded.
"I am curious about him. But I'm more annoyed than that." Daehan answered, looking at the wall across him.
"I want to make dada happy. He only thinks about me and you. If he does that forever... I... I-I don't want that to happen. I want him to be happy. With the person he loves. And clearly... Mr. Jeon is that person. He just doesn't wanna admit it. And I'm making him him do just that." he added.
"Don't you think me, you and the people around him are enough? Why add one more person in the crowd?" his grandma asked.
"Grandma... are you really Dada's mama?" Daehan asked instead, looking at her.
"Excuse me?"
"If you are... Then why can't you see it? Why can't you see how sad he gets from time to time? How he holds that green bottle as tight as he can when he thinks no one's watching? How he cries himself to sleep when he thinks no one's awake? How he acts all tough because of me? How he's denying himself of that one person he loves because of whatever happened between them that he doesn't even want to tell me?" Daehan asked, his tiny fists trembling.
