HIS POV

Blogs and magazine spoke of her beauty. Not just that skin exposed on magazine covers, etcetera etcetera but the beauty within. She was an active women's right advocate and the first one arriving on some donation drive but nothing explain how she got that male and even female reaction when she's strutting her stuff. She's walking towards him now at that al fresco style table. Under the shade of that big umbrella. It's seems the time moves slow and all of the people turned to look at her slowly with awed like scene on those movies. All in that simple yellow summer dress, loose wavy hair and smile for accesory.

Flawless

"Hi, am I late?" she asked while looking in her watch. She have that feminine soft voice, something he heard before but on a different woman. Although Patricia's voice was more on a lower tone

"No, I'm just early," he replied and pointed the chair opposite him. "Could you please sit Patty"

She followed, sitting there in refined movement yet with surprised look. It was the first time he called her by first name basis that's why.

"We need to call ourselves with first name basis right now, that's the reason," he explained to answer that nonverbal question.

She coughed, "Of course. Ga… Gabriel"

"Call me Gab, that's my nick name since I'm younger," he commanded in that all intimidating tone he can offer. He can't stop it, that's how he was trained. Everyone looking down at you so the only thing to repel that is to act stronger than them

"Ok. Ahm, Gab," she said stammering and looked around her as she tapped the table then leaned towards him. "What are we doing here Gab? There's too many people," she whispered

"That's what we need, somebody seeing us together. For rumor mills," he replied and averted his eyes. He realized he's been staring and found it awkward even if the lady doesn't see where his blue eyes landed ever since earlier

"But you said it needs to be secret for now. People will investigate, specially the showbiz insiders?" she hushed which snatched again his eyes

"That's why you need to deny it at first. After all, I'm on shades. Who would know exactly who's you're with right now?" he explained

She stared at him gasping, "I'm sure you know how people can easily solve puzzles these days, specially if it's about other people's lives"

"Keep mum of things, is that what you people in your industry used about this set up?" he insisted

She sighed and averted her eyes. Then she looked at him after a while, "So?"

He took a folder from his side and slid it on the table right in front of her. "Non disclosure agreement. I don't need to explain it to you. You've been signing a lot of it for fifteen years"

"One information leaked and my career will plummet anyways," she said

He smirked at that, "Yes, but we need it written in black and white for our protection"

"You want anything?" He finally offered when his red wine arrived. The waitress smiled at him sweetly.
Not his type so he just nodded once in reply

"No thanks," she replied and he saw how the woman across him observe that move.

Gab puffed in a sarcastic sound, "Don't tell me you're on a diet." Then he nodded impassively to the waitress who still smiling like it will tear his cheeks, "Charge on my account"

Patty opened the folder instead of making a rebuttal on his sarcasm but stopped, tilted her head and looked up at him again. "Ahm, could you give pl first before…"
