Part 42 Which Hugh?

Her POV

"Stop right now, thank you very much I need somebody with a human touch hey you always on the run gotta slow it down baby gotta have some fun," they all sung that tune from Frida's speaker box and laughed at it after

"Oops my daughter kicked my bladder again," Jb announced. "Patty, where's your restroom?"

"Go to the hallway there and turned right," she answered as she pointed a direction. They were at her newly retrofitted house, huddling after they met the new year separately. That's their first ladies night as foursome.

Patty was invited on Charlie's birthday party, the first week of January but she got job that time. Time flies, now, they're at the mid of January and doing that baby shower for Jb. Her friend's due date will be end of February but since Frida will leave country for a whole month because of honeymoon, they decided to do that early

Her mansion is a two storey building that boast of nice Italianate architecture. Very different from other mansion at Northern hills. It's small twin columns supports many arches on all the external balconies and terraces. The main facade of the mansion was with a crown at the topmost of the building signalling that the former resident of it was once a king. The king of the showbiz that is.

That's why it would be fitting that the baby shower of the Queen will be there. That's what she reasoned so that they can use it. Jb doesn't like party but since Frida loves organizing parties and Christine loves how her house turned out, they talked Jb into it.

"Just so you know, I'm just in kindergarten when Spice girls came out. I don't know why I knew their songs," Tin suddenly defended while trying to put pink balloons on her walls

"I'm not even walking that time," she jabbed laughing. She's rearranging some candy and chocolate props and happy on how she managed to do those big fake candy wrappers

"Oh so it's a numbers game of olds and new," Frida replied as she stands at the middle of them with her hands on her waist. "My dad just released his sperm to procreate me with my mom when that song became number one on top charts"

"Frida!" Tin yelled in chastisement but then again, the blonde bombshell laughed at it.

Frida provided a lot of chocolatey treats for their guest that would come in an hour. From fondants, to mushroom shapes to big rolled candies. It's a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme that's why there's a lot of dark brown stuff, violets and candies. Jb said it's her send away party to her addiction to sweets since she's going to be a mom and wanted to be a model of eating healthy.

Frida even made a very short fitted dress for herself that's dark violet in hue. It has a lot of ruffles of black at it's edges and even have a violet high hat. Simon doesn't mind whatever clothes his fiancee chose as long as it doesn't show some lady parts. Tin on the otherhand still styled herself regal on that plain light violet dress she wore that stop to her knees and with prominent small waist. Tin paired that with a nude stilletos unlike Frida who have a high heeled black boots.

Patty chose a white suspender with white miniskirt and a striped blue green tshirt inside of it. She paired it with small boots then a long socks that has red and white stripes on it.

She smiled. They all looked like barbies that has permanent smile on their faces

"So where are you now in your relationship Patty?" Frida suddenly asked without looking at her

She shrugged, as if Frida would see that, "We're alright"

"No L word floating around?" the girl coyly asked that
