HIS POV

The girl didn't fought the moment he tossed her on his shoulder but he heard her sobs. That died down his anger and deposited her gently on his passenger car. He was walking on that mall from a dinner meeting with another campaign donor Neil set for him when he heard her voice. He instantly recognized her soft voice and found her on that conference hall trying to host an event for that certain company.

He wants to come in when he saw her attire through that glass wall. Jesus, that's too short! And that orange clothes defined her flawless skin! He wanted to go inside that hall but it's an invitation only and he can't afford to cause a scandal so he waited for her to finish her gig. He went out with a lot of women before and some wore worst than that but he's not allowing those kinds of attire to his fiancee.

With plenty of self absorbed executive who's absorbed a lot of free drinks, he knew somebody will follow her. But he didn't see her coming out as she strode quickly along with the crowd

"Where are we going?" she finally uttered something after that pregnant silence. She asked that while her eyes set through car windows and not on him

"My place"

"I want to go home instead," she answered softly

"I'm not leaving you right now. Besides, you need rest," he insisted. "Don't worry I'm not doing anything just like that aged swine earlier"

"I know," she uttered in monotone voice

She surrendered on resisting his help and walked with him until his place on that ninteenth floor of the building at Sanders City

"You can use my space here," he spoke softly as they ascends on that spiral staircase. "I'll just get a tshirt….."

"No it's okay, just…. Just let me sleep," she cut that and slid on that sheet. "Thanks by the way," she said softly and turned

HER POV

She woke up on that foreign room where she plopped her body last night. It's foreign because she never had a time looking at the place last night but she knew it's Gab's place. She's safe.

A light blue shirt greeted her on her side table. Probably, Gab still went there and put it there for her. It's his, that's too large for a woman, but she doesn't care. She needs a fresh new shirt instead of that halter blouse she's in.

She reached on it as she sat to the bedside and smelled it. A sporty kind of fabric conditioner, those things they used for guys. It's still better than her trashed blouse.

But then she saw a light on her left. It's a huge arch type window glowing because of morning sun from outside. She's on a loft, as there's only a brown railings on top of decorative ballusters in front of that big bed she slept on.

The spiral staircase was an art itself and the huge arch window was actually far away from that loft. It's just that, the living room which greeted her when she descends have a high ceiling and the window started at the floor there. A huge cream colored sofa located beside it and there's a white pillow on top of a folded blanket

Oh no.... did he?

A clearing of the throat made her turn to another part of that area. It's Gab sitting at the head of a dining table. He's reading Johnson Chronicles while drinking his coffee. He looked fresh from shower, the light beside him make him glow on his smooth face along with his proper side combed straight hair. He is a nice view in the morning. Only his forehead is creasing. Scanning the area, she finally verified that there's only one room there and that's the loft. So he really did slept on that sofa
