Her POV
Since childhood, they were making fun of Frida because her birthday falls on November 2.
Their version of all souls day.
So Frida would always organize a halloween party just to hide that thing. At least she had a chance to do a party only, they would be hiding in costumes. But for that year, Frida decided to celebrate on that same day. Frida learned to love everything about her at last. That's because of Simon
Frida, being who she is threw that roaring twenties theme on top of her condo with a lot of people in attendance. The sun already set and the wind at the top of that high rise condo blew mildly for all. Patty went there with her silk off white dress that stopped on her knees. A black feathered boa was her accesories, a bling on her head and that cat's eye mascarra…. Her favorite eye make up
She walked around the swaying people searching for the celebrant but stopped once in a while to have a picture with other she knew or those who knew her and decided that she's relevant to be part of their social media pose. She saw Liam on a jumper at the corner already starting the night with two females on his both arms and she rolled her eyes in disgusts
Simon was still on his dark blue suit when she finally bumped on him and he smiled a little
"Where's your fiancee?" she shouted. The black and gold balloons swayed by the night air and so that 1920's theme song playing loud
He pointed a direction toward a corner and leaned a little towards her, "Don't ask the age." They both nodded in agreement
She smiled, "Thanks for Saturday. You know, asking Tonyo for guiding us"
He smirked, "Mr. and Mrs. Queen?"
Simon's place that is, of course he will knew whatever happened there. Patty shrugged, "Yeah, we want to be incognito"
He gestured that he'll leave and he tapped her on her shoulder before leaving
"Charlie is doing great on his new school. He got a lot of new friends," she heard Tin saying that to Frida as she walked towards her
Christine was on her black and white dress with a lot of pearls on her neck. Her hands were gloved and her headband was feathered. Still as beauty as she is on that simple ensemble. Tin added a sweet smile with it when she saw her coming
Frida turned when she saw Tin waving in her direction and the celebrant smiled too excitedly
"Happy birthday Frida!" she greeted. The girl's on a red ball hat, that's the first thing she sees. Frida's effortlessly gorgeous, with that small dimples and freckles, who would know that she turned twenty eight. Yes she knew the age.
The celebrant twirled happily to let her see her dress that night. It was a Downtown Abbey ensemble of emerald dress and long earrings. A small invitation was sent earlier with a note to not to wear green. Now she understands its Frida's dress
"Yeah yeah, you look beautiful," she commented to appease the girl. But Frida's really beautiful in her glowing face due to happiness
"Oh you grace my birthday party at last, thanks Patty," Frida said, hugging her
"You came with Gab?" Tin asked
She shook her head, "He's not really into this I guess"
Frida rolled her eyes and swatted the air once, "It's because you didn't ask"
"He said he's busy this week. Something about budget hearing?" she reasoned instead. The truth was, she didn't made an effort of inviting him. Budget hearing seems serious stuff and the guy seems allergic with parties.
