Part 51 How to throw a pick up line

HER POV

"Why are you two here?" she asked Frida and Gab outside of her television studio. It's new for her, seeing Frida and Gab together since they are not that close.

Frida took that lollipop on her cute lips and side looked at Gab. "Gab might have something planned on his own but I told you then that I'll be coming to see how you work."

Patty remembered that. She said Frida can come to see her finish some dubbing with her tv show before it aired the next week. But she said that two weeks ago. Weeks after they left her with that shitty man

"So?" she asked the tall blonde guy who have a dark blue container on his hand. He got an ample time right now since election was finished a day ago and they are counting still

"Well, I'm also here to see you," he replied

She crossed her arms, "And why?"

He cleared his throat, "To give this." He gave her that container but she didn't took it

"That's what and for what?" she asked defiantly

"It's a pie. A good luck thing with your new project," he reasoned while blushing and running his free hand on his hair. Frida giggled on that and stopped when she glared at her.

She exhaled and took that container. Just.to.be.polite. "It's not a pie," she said while looking through it

"It's fillings actually for three berry pie," he reasoned

"So? It's still not a pie just a filling"

"You made it a pie now," he answered and that made her and Frida tilted their heads towards him in confusion

"What? I can't understand it. Where's the crust?" she asked

"Can you expound on that?" Frida asked too and took again her lollipop to her mouth

He cleared his throat again, "Ahm. It's because…." He averted his eyes and exhaled then looked at her again with those nice pair of blue eyes. He cleared his throat again, "You're my celebrity crust"

She winced

And Frida started to turn her back slowly and then started to walk away

"Frida? Where are you going?" she yelled

"I can't take that cheezyness! I'm going home," Frida yelled without facing them

"So ahm," Gab said that made her looked at him again. He was beet red. That quote sounded too…. Too embarassing. Too stupid. Too cheezy and too cute for him. "Can we have some coffee somewhere?"

"I still got job actually," she lied. She can't take that cheeziness and don't know how can she talk to Gab after that

HIS POV

"What are you doing! That's too much!" Frida said to him while trying to stiffle that laugh he knew she's holding

He exhaled then scratched his head, "I don't know how I managed it actually." It was a planned asking out. Frida would asked her for some coffee and 'accidentally' he bumped on her story then she would leave at the coffee shop for a pretend emergency. But Frida started to walked away and he had no choice.

It's so happen that when he exited Patty's building, Frida's waiting already because she foresee that he will be rejected. Jesus, he was rejected

"Why did you do that! That's too cheezy," Frida scowled

"It's J's idea! She said it's a slick way to asked her out!" he reasoned. Crown's office was on Sanders and before Jb went there, she knocked on his place so early to give that cold container with an instruction of that pick up line.
