HER POV

Two days of straight taping.

Straight!

She can't complain since she wanted that life but the second day almost consumed her that she took a shower earlier than the sun would shine. Twice because she keeps on forgetting her line already!

But she's thankful it's finished and tried taking some nap, as Aaron her bodyguard, drove her home. She planned on sleeping the rest of that Friday before meeting Roaring Gab the next day

But the guy seems created on the surface of the planet with a goal on destroying her carefully crafted rest day when he came knocking on her floor at eight pm.

"I reiterate the idea about you thrashing your phone," he said with a blank face. The finest 'hi' he can say when you open the door for him.

"I'm taking a long sleep been….."

"Up for two days, I know. Aaron told me so I send him off too," he cut her. Oh, so at least he's concerned with his people. Anyone, any woman but her.

She gently rubbed her eyes and decided not to do say rebuttal on whatever he said.

"You can sleep now. I'm going alone," he uttered then started to walked out of her door. Did she heard that right?

"Wait, you're going this early? I thought it's tomorrow?"

A strong exhalation made by the city's youngest Congressman, "It's a long ride. Eight hours. I decided to go tonight so I will be there by morning. They're fisherfolks. In case you didn't know, they do things very early"

"Ahm, I can sleep in the car right?" she asked. Frida reminded her thru text that she needed to come with Gab. Somebody should be there for women and children as Gab is emotionally absent on that department, Frida's exact word.

"And never go with make up on," Frida noted. Yeah, as if she likes having those paintings on her face everytime. Her skin also needs to breathe.

"You can, but you're weary. I'll go alone instead. You can sleep now," he commanded

She chuckled on his ignorance that she was already woke up to his coldness, "You woke me up to tell me to come back to sleep?"

"No, I came here to see if you are ready to go but that rubbing of eyes tells it all," he explained strongly

"Okay, I can come. I want to see the place too and speak with the women there. Just promise me that I can sleep in your car," she insisted

"Yes, uncomfortably," he answered directly

She rolled her eyes and whirled to start walking towards her room, "Okay, I'll go. Not because of you but to women there. Could you wait for me to get ready?"

"They don't need you dolled up," Gab said sarcastically and she whirled back to give him her impassive face. "Just dress comfortably. Shorts should suffice." Then she finally realized that the guy was on brown shorts and simple shirt. A different kind of guy who always on suit, but this version still looking anything but ordinary. He nodded at her when she didn't answer and turned to her door, "I'll wait for you downstairs"

They're using his range rover going at the South and Troy would be at the wheels this time. He's really planning to sleep then.

"Hi Troy, are you ready driving for eight hours?" she asked the tall guy while still manage to smile

Troy nodded once, "Yes Ms. James. I'm rested well for this event don't worry"

"Oh, but if you need to rest tell me, I can drive too," she offered
