When I woke up, Will was gone. I sighed and rolled over.

My phone went off, playing my One Direction ringtone. I need to change that.

I checked the caller ID. I didn't recognize the number, but I picked up anyway.

"Hello?" I brought the phone to my ear.

"Stella?" I knew that voice.

Jason.

"Jason? Is that you?" I asked.

"Oh my gosh, Stella." Jason sounded panicked.

"Is everything okay?"

"That's the thing. I think something is up with Will." Jason rushed.

"What do you mean?"

"Will sent me a text, saying that he needed help. He wasn't specific with the 'help' thing, but I tried calling. He wont pick up."

"Alright. I'll give him a call. Do you have any idea where he might be?"

"No." Jason sighed.

"I'll call you back." I said urgently.

"Bye, Stella." Jason hung up.

Immediately, I scrolled through my contacts until I found Will's name.

I hit the call button. It went straight to voice mail.

Oh my god.

I ran down the steps. "Mom! I'm going out!"

I didn't wait for a response. I bolted out the door, and ran to Will's house. I texted Jason.

No answer. I'm at his house now.

I banged on the door. Mrs. Newman answered, her eyes red. "Stella?"

"Mrs. Newman," I gasped. "Where is Will?"

"He said he was going out. Why?"

"Oh my god." I muttered. I focused back on Mrs. Newman. "I hate to ask this, but did anything happen within the last hour that involved Will being upset?"

"Yes," Mrs. Newman narrowed her eyes. "Why?"

"Will had texted Jason, saying that he needed help. Jason and I tried calling him, but it goes straight to voicemail. And we cant find him. I thought you'd know where he was."

Mrs. Newman covered her mouth. "He said he wouldn't do this..."

"Do what?"

"Nothing," Mrs. Newman cleared her throat. "I'll try calling him."

"Mrs. Newman I don't think you realize-"

"Stella, Will has an independent personality. I'm sure he's fine."

"Who are you trying to convince? Yourself? Will's my boyfriend. And he's your son. Right now he's missing, and we cant find him. So stop lying to yourself, saying that he's fine. We don't know that. And I'm going to bring him back here, safe." I spat. I hated being disrespectful, but with Will's mental health on the line, I'll sacrifice everything. Even the likes of his mother.

Mrs. Newman was quiet. Then, she grabbed a coat that was resting on her sofa. "You're right. Let's go."
