Where two old childhood friends meet under the full moon,

Problems and pain that kept them from moving forward would soon be let go,

As one wants to find love while the other thinks that love is a nuisance

Will it change the other person's mind or it is just another waste of time?

But, more of a reason to waste it on me?

"What the hell am I saying,?" I question myself scribbling what I had written in my book.

"Having trouble with the story, my little friend,?" I hear my best friend ask, placing an iced coffee on the table in front of me.

I snicker as I stare at the iced coffee.

"Are you my best friend? You should know that I hate coffee," I pout, glaring at the coffee.

I heard my best friend chuckle before he sat in one of the unoccupied chairs in front of me.

"What are you talking about? This is mine," He answered before taking a sip through the paper straw.

"You're so mean," I continued to pout, he chuckled.

"Anyway, what's troubling you,?" He changed the subject completely before taking another sip of his iced coffee.

It took me a few moments to answer, as I was too busy staring at what I wrote. "I don't know what to write about, I already finished my recent book yesterday but now he wants me to write another story - a romance novel as such," I whined as I rest my head on my hand for support.

"Oh, I thought you were going to go on vacation Jade?" He questioned.

"Well that's what I thought but no~ that didn't go as planned," I paused as I changed my position, "Writing a mystery novel-sure, I can do that. Writing a fantasy novel-sure, I love too; but writing a full-on romance novel is so hard James,"

Meanwhile, James just sits there, sipping his iced-coffee as I see him nod once a while with his eyes not leading me for a second.

"I mean, I understand. I write some romance things in my novels, but I can only write clips of it. Not a whole story about," I sighed.

"What about some dating experience,?" James suggested.

I gawked at him as if he was crazy.

"I mean, that seems low, especially for the person I date since I might not develop feelings for them," I said against it, giving a scenario.

James nodded his head, agreeing with my scenario until I saw his changed face for some reason before confronting me why he had this glint in his eyes that matched with his expression. "What about Luke Parker? You had a crush on him since high school and~ was in the same college as him," James suggested another idea.

This idea made my heart race a marathon, feeling myself getting hotter-knowing that James would see my blushing cheeks.

"Oh my gosh, you still have a crush on him?" James teased.
