I waited for Julian (who was still talking to Luke) while one of his friends, Alex, asked for an autograph - and I gladly agreed.

"Your detective stories are cool," Alex complimented, I smiled at him.

"Thank you, I hope you will continue to support me," I told him, patting his head.

Smiling gleefully, he nodded his head so eagerly before running back to Jordan who was waiting for him. Alex waved back at me once more, allowing me to do the same until I couldn't see him anymore as I looked around to see only Julian and Luke in the dance studio.

"Okay," I mentally said, "Just act as nothing happened," I gave myself a pep talk.

After being mentally prepared, I stood up from my seat and casually strolled towards the two.

"Julian, your mum is expecting you home soon. We should hurry," I told him kindly.

He stops his conversation with Luke as he looks at him before nodding.

"Okay, but I need to get something real quick," He reported.

I nodded my head, seeing his figure disappear through the door...However, it was now just the two of us in the dance studio; as we barely talked with each other let alone look at each other in the eye.

"Your nephew is very talented," Luke broke the ice.

"Well, he gets it from his mother," I told him as I laugh

It became silent once again before he continued to talk.

"Listen, why not after dropping off your nephew...if you would like to come to dinner with me?" He asked.

"What?" I hurriedly said, facing him. "Is he asking me out," I thought.

"I mean, a few days after we met, I got an invitation to our reunion for high school and so I was wondering if you would like to come with me?" he responded.

I think about it for a moment, waiting quietly for everything to process in my head before getting a light bulb lit.

"Oh, the high school reunion," I quickly covered up my shocked expression from before. "Well, the thing is... James and I were planning to go together," I tried to word it nicely.

I see Luke giving a disappointed expression.

"Oh," He said in a sad tone.

Feeling a bit guilty, so I tried to cheer him up.

"But hey, we can always go and hang out some other time - to catch up," I smile at him.

He looked up at me before seeing me smile that caused him to unconsciously do too.

"Aunty, I got it," Julian ran towards us. "Let's go,"

I turn to look at Julian, nodding my head before we soon both glance at Luke - giving him a small wave and smile.

"Bye," Julian said before we turned back and strolled outside the dance studio.
