I sit on the sandy beach near our vacation house, feeling my towel on my bottom whilst I stare at my nephew playing in the water with my filter vintage sunglasses.

"Why aren't you swimming?" Penelope questioned.

"Cause I don't want to.Problem? " I said intimidating

"No, not at all," Penelope mumbled before seeing Marcus wrapping his arms around Penelope before giving her a smooch.

"Ew," I thought as I made a disgusted face, yet at the same time felt envious of them - for having each other.

"MOTHER! FATHER! LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" Julian exclaimed as he came towards us to display a small seashell on the palm of his hands.

"Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous shell you found," Penelope complimented before standing up with Marcus - following along. "Let's see if we can find an even bigger seashell along the shore," She added before both Marcus and she clutched arm each of Julian before observing them walking along the shore to find a big seashell.

I sigh in envy, while I forced my eyes to move away from them and towards the ocean shore (where the small waves came forward towards the sand before retreating).

"This is so nice," I thought out loud, unconsciously smiling happily.

"It is, isn't it,"

I jumped scared as Lance's voice was close to me. Shifting around I looked at Lance (who was placing his towel on the sandy layer evenly) sitting down next to me under the big umbrella.

"I thought you were swimming,?" I asked him, confused.

"Well, you seemed pretty lonely here, so I thought that maybe you wanted some company," He answered.

"I am not lonely," I reassured him.

"Are you sure about that?" James said on the other side of me. Both Lance and I turned our heads in the other direction to see James (seating) next to me - sipping on a chilled beer can staring back at us. "What?" He asked, muddled by our faces.

"I thought you..." I tried to say, pointing to the condo then back to James's spot - still bewildered about how he came here so quietly.

"Don't change the subject," James said as he took another sip of his beer. "I should be asking myself; why haven't you~ been with your boyfriend missy?" James scolded me with a look that a mother-in-law would give to their disapproving daughter-in-law.

I, however, sighed as I glanced at the smaller waves coming to shore.

"I told you already, this dating thing is just a trial," I told James, not bothered by Lance who knew everything from A-Z when it came to me.

"Then why do this dating trial thing if you both aren't going to spend time with each other?" James questioned me.

I looked back at him in annoyance - giving him an 'are you serious look'. "Really? You want me to hang out with them, knowing that I was going to be a third wheel for all of them,?" I claimed, pointing to the direction behind me before I turned my head back (with the others following) seeing both Kane and Luke smiling and laughing together with Amanda in the middle of both of them. "You know I hated being the third wheel in high school. Remember when you forced me to go on your dates with your girls," I added.

"Technically, if you were there, it would have been the fourth wheel" James clarified my mistake.

"Wow, thank you for the clarification," I said sarcastically.

"You're welcome," James replied.

I made a noise annoyingly before laying back down on my towel (taking a deep breath to try and relax) however, I couldn't relax when both Lance and James were each beside me talking and laughing with each other that made my annoyance grow stronger. "Do you mind chatting to each other somewhere else instead of here - where I'm actually trying to relax," I spoke rudely as I pulled my glasses to the edge of my nose - glaring at the both of them. Averting my view back and forth to Lance and James.
