"Luke Parker?...Right?" I said loudly.
And it seemed that my assumptions were right, as the figure suddenly flinched as I called that name. "Is that you?" I slowly said, waiting for the figure to turn around.
For a moment, I heard him curse a bit at himself before slowly turning towards my direction. Once I saw the figure turned around, my assumptions were fully correct as I saw his face to see that it hadn't changed at all-well, that seemed like a total lie as he became even hotter while his figure seemed slim but showed that he worked out. Though his expression right now seemed a bit depressing, I tried to cheer him up by giving him a warm smile.
"Luke, it's been a while," I told him as I slowly walked towards him until I was in front of him.
Hearing what I said, he now felt confused as his eyebrows scrunched together.
"I'm sorry," He apologises, "But, who are you and how do you know me?" He questioned.
Stopping in front of me, I mentally frown-well, just like I said, I was an extra in my high school days and even my college days - it was kind of sad that he didn't know as I was in the same class for his high school years, but I guess I was wrong.
"It's me, Jade," I introduced myself, hoping that he would remember something.
However, the look on his face shows that he was still baffled, causing my smile to disappear from my face.
"Ah~, I guess you don't remember me," I laughed it off, "So embarrassing" I mumbled as the tension in the air was quiet and awkward for the both of us.
So, not being in this air for any longer, I waved goodbye to him and made another one-eighty turn to walk to the apartment that wasn't too far from here.
"Don't be so stupid Jade," I began to scold myself, "You were just an extra, the background cast," I told myself as I went farther and further away from him.
"Jade? From high school? Right?"
I suddenly stopped walking as I became a statue. My heart was about to explode in joy as he at least remembered me. So, turning around again, I smiled whilst nodding my head.
"Took you long enough," I joked before laughing it off.
He soon laughed weakly, before using one of his hands to rub the back of his neck. "I'm sorry," He apologised once more, "I should've recognised you," he added, having this guilty tone.
I felt bad for him (and a bit guilty too) before I shook my head - now walking towards him once again.
"No need to apologise, it didn't seem like we were close back then," I told him.
However, his guilty mood didn't seem to lift. "But I should still figure it out," He paused before dropping his hand down and staring at me. "Besides, you were in all of my classes throughout high school," He added, while I stood in front of him shocked as I thought that I was the only one that remembered.
"Well, you're probably wondering why I am walking here," he changed the topic.
"Um, no, not really," I said, a bit guilty.
Looking at his golden burn eyes avoiding my gaze, I could see that his face became flustered. "But," I quickly said, "It seems that you have lots of things going on...You wanna talk about it?" I suggested.
