The sun soon sets as everyone was down at the beach with Kane and Lance mending the fire. James, Penelope and I preparing the food and drinks as well as the towels (where everyone is going to sit down) then Luke and Amanda collecting firewood - yay, not that great and not as I cared. However, I did my best to ignore that detail, but it seems like the music from the blue portable radio helped me calm down and forget about that little detail that I was distracted by.
"Hey Jade," Marcus called me.
Turning around, I see Marcus standing in front of me, holding my cute nephew, Julian, in his arms.
"Yeah, what's up?" I questioned.
"As you can see, Julian fell asleep and I'm a bit tired. So I'm just going to head up to the condo and sleep, just tell Penelope if she becomes worried," Marcus instructed.
I smiled, nodding my head, "Yeah I'll tell her that," I agreed before he grinned and went straight to the condo.
Once I saw them disappearing in my sight, I sat on one of the towels (that I provided for me and the others) holding a beer that I placed on my towel from before, opening it and taking a sip of my beer.
"Okay, the fire is very well burning," Lance said as he sat next to me, while Kane sat on the other side of the fire - presumably waiting for Amanda to come back so she could sit next to him.
"Where's Marcus?" Penelope asked me confused, sitting down on the towel next to me.
"Oh, Marcus is putting Julian into bed and also was a bit tired," I answered.
"Oh" Was all she said before looking back at the condo, shifting back to me. "I think I should also go," Penelope suggested.
I was about to open my mouth to say something when Lance spoke first.
"Aww, I wanted you to stay longer, plus we haven't even started yet," Lance whined, pouting cutely.
"Aww Lance," Penelope said as she pinched his cheeks, "But I'll just go and join my husband and son to sleep. I'm just tired too. Plus it will get me a chance to spend more time with my family, whilst you guys should all have fun . . . so don't let me ruin it for you" Penelope answered, "Cause even if I did, I would've been in mother mode," She added, saying her one final goodbye to us before walking back to the condo.
"BYE!" Both Lance and I said, waving goodbye before I saw my sister fully disappear.
"Now it's just us," Lance sighed.
"WE'RE HERE!" Luke's voice was heard through the distance.
We both turn to see Amanda and Luke coming closer to us before setting the sticks down. Amanda sat next to Kane while Luke sat next to me on the other side.
"Hey Luke sit here," Amanda suggested, patting the towel next to her on the other side.
"Nah it's okay," Luke denied her request politely before I felt his arm wrap around my waist.
"I GOT BEER!" James exclaimed, giving a beer can to each person there besides me. "Where are the parents?" James questioned.
"Tired," Lance replied with a pout.
"Aww," James moped before sitting next to Lance once he gave everyone a can of beer.
"Aww don't be like that" Kane reassured them, "At least we can all get wasted without minding a child roaming around,".
