Was this Fate and Destiny trying to help me reunite with Luke?
Were Luke and I meant to be? For all this time and not Amanda?
However, my thinking process was cut off when Amanda conversed.
"Well, why don't we dig in? The meat must be already cooked," She giggled before using her utensils to clutch the meat from the grill.
"Sure," I smiled agreeing; following her actions.
But I hurriedly stopped when I saw Luke giving his beer the attention, holding a thinking face to see him contemplating about something - not sure if it was personal or private... (Of course, I didn't want to be stingy about it) Annoying him into talking and asking him about being delighted; but at least - I wanted him to enjoy it - making it less miserable for him.
So taking courage once more, I used one of my utensils to position some meat on his plate (leading him to change his expression into a bewildered one). Luke stared at me to see that I held a small smile upon my face.
"Don't be down," I whispered to him, "You can be grumpy and jealous later -but right now, you need to eat," I added. However, his expression formed blank once again, causing me to roll my eyes at him. "Stop being like that, you need to eat - especially when you and your class were having a freestyle party," I scolded, turning back to my plate that held the grilled meat (and other foods). Ignoring him completely, I began to gobble up my food evoking me to smile even more by the flavour it had held; it almost made me do a backflip (figuratively, not physically) that I didn't see Luke grinning at me for a few seconds.

Throughout the night, he suddenly stopped caring about his jealousy and anger towards Amanda(while I also forgot my writer's block) started to have fun with Kane and Amanda - who also were entertained with us around. Kane and I were a bit tipsy while the other two~ were full-on drunk, making it hard for the two of us - especially me since I needed to work out how I'm going to hoist Luke out of the restaurant.
"Hehe" Luke giggled, leaning his head on my shoulder. "You're funny," he said while I studied him confused.
"But I didn't say anything," I told him, only for him to giggle more like a girl in love.
"Well, Jade" I heard Kane, switching my look to Kane - who had Amanda sleeping on Kane's back, "I bid you farewell," he tipped his invisible hat before venturing out of the restaurant with Amanda - and leaving me with Luke to deal with.
However, I just sat there on my seat, glancing at the direction that Kane went to - processing him leaving into my head until hearing Luke.
"HEY~"
Before I could turn my head towards him, I felt a hand holding onto my jaw tightly - forcing me to gaze at him - observing his eyes; filled with jealousy and rage.
"What?" I tried to say, only for Luke's glare to intensify.
The glare was more serious and deadly, dominating me and made me feel intimidated by Luke.
"Stop staring," He said in a low, raging voice.
It gave me shivers from how deep his voice went (and by how scared I was) I slightly averted my eyes down; tilting my head down a bit. I followed his orders (waiting for moments) until I gasped from him moving my jaw up; only for me to gawk into his eyes more, displaying nothing still - except jealousy.
"Stop staring at Kane" He growled lowly.

"Huh?" Was all I said, confused but yet still intimidated by his drunken presence.
"Stop. staring. at Kane," He repeated. He then leaned close to me, that I could feel his breath scraping across my skin.
My heart raced and jumped. Feeling my face becoming intensely flustered by Luke. A drunken Luke who I wanted to force myself away from his grip, however, he may have tightened it more with his hands (But damn. He was strong).
"The only man that you can stare at, is me. Got that?" He said slowly.
I was stunned. My eyes expanded from that sudden statement.
"And if I see any man touching you or looking at you in my presence," He suddenly threatened, "I will cut their heads off and sew it on backwards," He finished, still peering at me with rage.
I would talk right now, however, my eyes started to tear up as his hand (that held on my face) tightened.
"Luke," I mentally said, wrapping my hand around his wrist.
"L..l..let go," I stuttered as I tried to free his hand away from my jaw.
But his grip on my face didn't move a single bit; as he continued to hold me and look at me - still with anger.
"Please," I whimpered, tearing up more.
My continuous whimpers seemed to get to him, as I saw through my watery vision that his eyes widened - causing his grip to loosen.
"Ah" I sighed in relief, eyeballing him whilst massaging my chin. "Ah, Luke," I said softly, observing his head gazing down.
However, he didn't respond - making me feel nervous that he might be dead."Luke," I said again, leaning closer to only stop my actions.
Stopping any other actions, I saw something wet, flowing down his cheeks - letting me wonder."Is he crying?" I thought.
"Amanda" I heard him whimpering the name.
My eyes widened and my heart tightened by him calling her name. But I didn't stop him - waiting to listen to what he would say next.
"Amanda" He wept her name, "Why did you have to be like this,?". He then leaned his face on the palm of his hands.
My heart sank lower as I knew where this scene was going( but at the same time) I still felt heartbroken.
"I love you with all my heart and yet," he paused, crying softly, "You ended up breaking my heart. So~ badly,"
"Oh Luke," I thought.
Staring at him with empathy, I felt alone. And not wanting to feel alone, I did what I felt was right and hugged him tightly - feeling his tears wetting the fabric of my clothes. "Shh," I whispered to him while letting my hand go through his raven locks - cuddling him securely - to assure him that he wasn't alone.
