So, I got a new version of Word put onto my new laptop, and decided to go through Insanity with the spell-check. Well.... I'm surprised that you guys can actually read this efficiently since there were countless spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes and the wrong tense for several words. But I thank you greatly for reading never-the-less.
Also, I greatly apologize for the super long wait, my close friends understand that I'm in a bad place, but for the rest of the world who doesn't, let's just say I've had a shitty last couple of months. But the school year is practically over and hopefully the rest of the problems will sort themselves out.
Without further or do- here it is, after the never ending long wait (could be about two weeks before the next update is up, instead of one due to exams over the next week and a half)
Tell me what you think! And don't forget to vote! ;)
Chapter 17: Broken
Badoom. Badoom. Badoom.
My heartbeat throbbed loudly as I slowly awoke from my daze. The last thing I remembered was Ivy’s bright eyes and the word ‘drink’.
I moaned, my head throbbing more as I thought about it. I had gone off the deep end. Years of therapy gone down the drain.
I wanted to punch something, to rip something apart and put it back together, just so I could rip it apart again.
Slowly I opened my eyes, the lighting was bright and I blinked haphazardly until it faded slightly. My eyes still stung, but the light didn’t hurt as much. I groaned as I slowly sat up. I looked around, the place was a mess.
The couches were upside down, the stereo was covered in blue paint, feathers were everywhere, the curtains were pulled across haphazardly and torn- letting in a whole bunch of light- there was random items of clothing flung around the place, and there was a moose standing in the middle of the room.
I raised an eyebrow. The moose was wearing a top hat and Batman boxers. I’m glad I don’t own a pair of those.
“Jesus,” I heard Ivy moan on the floor near me. I was on one of the only couches still upright, surrounded by feathers that had been drenched in blue paint.
“Why. The. Fuck. Is. There. A. Moose. In. The. Living. Room?” Dylan asked, each syllable like a stab to my mind. I cradled my head and moaned, bringing my knees up too to protect me from sunlight.
“Did we go to Canada?” I heard Crystal’s childish voice not too far from me.
“Well, we must have stopped in Gotham and Britain as well by the looks of what he’s wearing,” Ivy murmured.
Just then Roman walked in, wearing only a pink thong. “Has anyone seen my clothes?” He rumbled. His hangover voice sounded very similar to Rex’s normal voice, which was odd compared to his usual breathy tone, and the fact that he barely talked.
“No, but are those your boxers?” Dylan asked as he stood up, recovering slightly. He was drenched in blue paint, only wearing a pair of boxers, and a tie was crookedly strung around his neck.
Then they noticed me, just watching them as my hands clung to my hair, almost pulling it out. As far as I knew, I was still in last night’s clothes.
“Hey Ivy,” Dylan asked, nudging her with his foot, “What did we do last night?”
Ivy moaned. I couldn’t see her, but I could hear her. “I don’t know, I don’t remember much.”
