My head was in pain.

So much pain.

I heard movements—-voices.

Clutter.

I opened my eyes—slowly...

"Yumi!" Sanna cried

"You're awake!! Finally" Jun shouted running outside the room asking for the doctor's help.

"Tell me your alright" Chan asked softly

"What happened?" I asked in confusion

I looked at everyone's face. Except for Jun—who's wasn't back yet.

Sanna looked so scared—her eyes were red—Chan's whole body was shaking. I was confused.

What had to happen to me?!?!

"You fainted out of nowhere! Yumi it's my fault isn't it?!??" Sanna begged to cry,..holding my hands dearly.

After a while of confusion not speaking to my friends. Jun came in with the doctor.

"Well—how long have you not eaten Ms.Park," the doctor asked curiously tapping his pencil.

My hands started shaking. My whole friends stared at me. I was left with a spotlight.

I started sweating..my words stumbled—slurred.

"Umm—-a we—e-k—-.." I whispered

The doctor looked at me with a pitiful look. He pushed back his glasses. He frowned.

"You fainted due to your hunger strike—I suggest you stay here for today..call a guardian and I'll talk with them."

He left the room quietly.

I stared at my nails. Picking them in embarrassment. I scratched my knee. A habit I do whenever I lie.

"My grandma ain't a good cook—haha" I said trying to break the silence.

"We are the worst friends" Sanna cried in tears.

"You never ate lunch with us—-we thought—-thought—-argh!!!—- I never notice how thin your arms were!! I—I—argh!!" Sanna said holding grudges in.

She held my hand. Tightly. She smiled.

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

The words kept being repeated.
Repeated so many times in my head.

I saw Chan cry for the first time. Well everyone's a cry for the first time.

I felt happy.

In a way—that I know they cared for me.

Like true friends I never had.

I held Sanna's hand back. Her small pale hands. I smiled at Chan—and Jun who were standing behind her.

I smiled. And cried with them.

"I'm so sorry"

"I'm so sorry"

"Sorry"

I begged

"I won't do it again"

"Please continue being my friends"

My tears flowed like a never-ending waterfall.

Too much.

Too many tears flowed that day.

We all hugged. I felt their warm bodies against my frail back.

I felt like eating again.

"Sorry guys—I made you worry"

"I'll make sure to tell you all my problems—when the time is right"

They didn't say anything.

They continued to hug me.

"Sorry—again" They added. Hugging me as if there's no tomorrow.

I hated that word—

But now it seemed okay—

Forgotten memories.

Forgetting now...

"Sorry"
