I was alone by the tree that haunts my dreams so often. I saw a woman circle the tree. She had been in my dreams before. She circled the tree looking carefully at every limb. She had a small purse hanging from her shoulder. She opened the bag and I noticed a tear drop from her face.
She pulled out a pen and piece of paper. She began to write. From then on not one tear went from her eye. She reached in the purse than got out a tack. She pinned the note to the tree than smiled so big that I believed she was happy. She than got out her phone and looked like she was texting someone. One tear slipped out but she ignored it. She looked down and started to undo her belt, wich was really a rope tied around her waist. She hung herself right then and there, she died in peace. "Mom!" yelled what looked liked a 12 year old girl. It was like a younger me. The girl ran up to the woman who was now lifeless. She hurriedly tried to take the rope off but she failed.
" WHATS GOING ON!" A deep voice boomed. It was a man. He saw the woman, and looked disgusted. He looked down at the girl and slapped her. "You don't have permission to be here, she deserved this!" He began too beat the girl. "Daddy please." the girl cried but she was silenced by his hits. "Dad!" a firm voice spoke "stop!" It was a young boy probably about 13. " back away from Angel!" he said talk and firm. " oh boy she killed your mamma she's a murderer!" said the man. And with one last hit the girl blacked out.
I awoke shaking and crying. Memories of the night when my family was ripped apart came flooding back. I felt like my dad was still here to beat me. I sat up and turned on the light.
Frantically I searched for the extra key Connor had given me for his room. I hobbled down the hallway trying to be quite. I opened Connors door, and stood still for a while. Then I decided to climb into Connors bed he made me feel safe. I got in and heard a snore. Right as I almost fell asleep I felt Connors strong hand wrap around me I was at peace.
