Chapter 14

Woozi knocked on the door. "Haneul, please open the door. You haven't eaten anything for two days! You need to eat something!"

Jun walked up the stairs. "Still not opening?" he asked Woozi, who shook his head.

"She's not unconscious, right?" Jun asked.

"Seungkwan said she's still conscious. He saw her staring into space last night. Even when he called her, she wouldn't move," Woozi answered.

Jun sighed. "Lucky that Seungkwan can see through things. But why can't he just go through the wall and enter her room?" Jun ruffled his hair.

"She'd freak out," Woozi sighed.

"Has Mingyu tried calling her out?" Jeonghan asked as he and Dino approached Haneul's room.

"Hyung," Jun looked at him. "After Mingyu told her about us, she hasn't left her room," Woozi explained.

"Mingyu has tried calling her to open the door a few times now, but she hasn't responded," Dino added.

Jeonghan sighed and went to knock on her door. "Princess, please come out and eat something. I'm worried sick about you," Jeonghan said.

"Princess?" he called again.

"Just leave me alone," they finally heard her voice. They all sighed in relief.

"I'm sorry, oppa. I need more time," Haneul said.

"Okay, princess. But come out once you feel better, okay?" Jeonghan's voice softened.

"Okay," she replied quietly.

Jeonghan sighed before turning back to the others. "Let's leave her for now."

"Okay," Woozi agreed.

"By the way, where's Coups hyung?" Jun asked.

"That's another problem," Jeonghan said, rubbing his forehead. "He hasn't left his reading room either. At least he's eating the food we leave for him at the door."

"Did Seungkwan hyung see anything in his room?" Dino asked.

"Yah, maknae, Coups hyung is a pureblood. He'll know if we use our powers on him," Woozi reminded the youngest.

"Oh, right. I forgot," Dino said, rubbing his neck.

Jun looked out the window. "It's been two days since we last saw the sun."

"Miss the sun already?" Jeonghan asked.

"I do hate the sun, but without it, it feels like this mansion is engulfed in darkness," Jun said.

"It's like Haneul's controlling the weather, right?" Dino suggested.

Three heads turned to him. "Wh-What?" Dino asked nervously.

"You might be right. That could be her power. Then we can determine which family line she's from. You know how the power hierarchy works, right? I should tell S.Coups about this," Jeonghan said before running towards S.Coups's reading room.

Jeonghan gently knocked on S.Coups's door. "Coups-ah, it's me. Can I come in?"

"Come in," S.Coups's voice called from inside the room.

Jeonghan walked in to find S.Coups lying on the couch, looking half-asleep.

"Are you okay?" Jeonghan asked.

S.Coups nodded weakly. "Yeah, just a lot of reading to do," he replied.

Jeonghan glanced around the room. Books were scattered everywhere. "Did you find anything?" he asked.
