Chapter 36

Haneul was surprise to see the condition of the mansion. The wall crumbled into tiny pieces, broken glass everywhere and claw marks were visible on the walls and other things. Vampire bodies were everywhere. From the living room into the kitchen and their rooms. She looked down at the living room. She could see Wonwoo, Dino and Jeonghan were leaning against the wall, panting so hard. "Oppa, gwenchana?" she shouted from the second floor. "Haneul-ah, gwenchana?" Dino asked and she nodded. "Can you do us a favor? Search for the others." Jeonghan asked. "I will." She turned to leave when came face-to-face with Vernon. "I'll come with you, just to be safe." He offered. "Sure." She agreed.

While Haneul and Vernon went to find the others, S.Coups went downstairs. "You're okay?" S.Coups asked Wonwoo, Dino and Jeonghan. "I think my shoulder got dislocate." Wonwoo said. "Joshua can fix that right?" S.Coups asked. "I'm not sure." Jeonghan said. "We need to find him first." He added.

Haneul then appeared from the second floor. "Haneul?" Dino looked at her in puzzle since she seems to be in hurry. "Hold on sec. I need to treat their injuries first." Haneul quickly went into the kitchen and quickly found the first aid kit.

"Who's injured Haneul?" S.Coups asked. "Well, uhm...Shua oppa, DK oppa, Woozi oppa, Mingyu oppa, Hoshi oppa and Seungkwan oppa." Haneul counted. "Shua is injured? We have to get him treated first." Wonwoo said. "I'm on my way." Haneul bowed to them before she went back upstairs.

"I'm going to help her." S.Coups said. "I'm coming with you." Wonwoo said. "Forget it. You injured. Just stay here." S.Coups looked at Wonwoo sternly. "But everyone else is upstairs. I don't want to be alone." Wonwoo said. S.Coups sighed as he shook his head. "Suit yourself. You're coming?" S.Coups asked Dino and Jeonghan. They both nodded.

Haneul placed the first aid kit box next to Joshua. "Oppa, are you going to be okay?" Haneul asked him. Joshua looked at his hand. Pieces of broken glass were embedded in his flesh. "I'm going to be okay." He winched when Haneul started to take out the glass. "What about the others?" Joshua asked.

"I think Woozi oppa need some stiches on his head. Seungkwan oppa broke his nose, Hoshi oppa got this one cut on his back, Minggyu oppa injured his head, DK oppa broke his hand." Haneul reported to Joshua. "Just help me to take out the glass. I need to attend Woozi first." Joshua said.

"Let me do that." Jeonghan, Dino, Wonwoo and S.Coups walked into the room. "But you can't heal people." Joshua looked at Jeonghan. "But I know how to stitch people. Just let me do it for now. You're not in good shape as well." Jeonghan said. "But-" "Joshua!" S.Coups called him coldly.

Joshua looked at him. S.Coups's eyes were red and he knew that he's not in good mood. "O-Okay." Joshua said. "Vernon?" Jeonghan asked. "He's with Woozi oppa." Haneul answered. Jeonghan nodded before he looked at Dino. "Go to my room and get another first aid kit under my bed. Meet me in Woozi's room. Wonwoo you stay here with them." Jeonghan said. Wonwoo and Dino nodded before they went away.

S.Coups watched as Haneul attend Joshua's injuries. "I thought vampire can heal themselves?" Haneul asked. "No we can't. Only pureblood can do that but it's only limited to small cut. Vampires like us don't die easily but we still can get injured." Joshua told her and she nodded as she took out the last piece of the glass. She cleaned his wound before she covered the wound with clean cloth.

Haneul looked at Joshua, "I'm going to the others. You stay here with S.Coups oppa and Wonwoo oppa, okay?" he nodded. She took the first aid kit box and ran out from the room.

Joshua looked at S.Coups, "You're okay?" he asked. S.Coups nodded, "Yeah, I'm just thinking-" "Why would they attack us out of the blue?" Wonwoo asked. S.Coups turned to him, "Exactly!" "We did our best to leave no sign that lead to this place." Joshua said. His gaze landed on one of the vampire dead body. "How did they found us? And why?" he asked.

"We need to talk about it once everything go back to normal. Don't tell Haneul about it just yet." S.Coups said. Joshua and Wonwoo nodded, "I will inform the others about it." Joshua said. He then turned to look at Wonwoo, "Come here. Let me fix your shoulder." He called Wonwoo. "Can you do it?" Wonwoo asked and Joshua nodded, "I still have some energy." Wonwoo nodded before he got up and went to sit next to Joshua.

S.Coups looked at them, "You'll be okay right? I'm going to find Haneul." Wonwoo nodded, "We'll be okay."

Late that night, they had everyone treated. All dead bodies were burnt to ashes by S.Coups's flame. They gathered at their ruined living room. "What are we going to do now?" Dino asked. "Morning is coming soon. We can't live here anymore. It will take too much time to fix the building." Seungkwan said.

"We're not going to stay here." S.Coups said. "We're moving?" Jeonghan looked at him. S.Coups nodded. "We don't have anywhere else to stay, hyung." Minghao said. "You don't plan to go back there, aren't you?" Mingyu asked. "Of course no!" S.Coups answered.

"Going back where?" Haneul asked. "Vampire world. Haneul, I promise you once everything is settle, we will tell you the whole story. But for now, just stay with us." Wonwoo said and she just nodded.

"Okay since they knew our place, it's possible that they will come back in future. So we can't stay here. We need to move. It's going to be morning in few hours so we better move. Bring your important stuff for now. We'll come back when things are back to normal." S.Coups told them and they nodded. They got up and went back to their room to get their stuffs.

In less than an hour, each one of them brought a bag full with clothes, important documents and food supplies which include their blood supplies. "Everyone's here?" Mingyu asked. "Head count! One!" S.Coups started. "Two" "Three" "Four" "Five" "Six" "Seven" "Eight" "Nine" "Ten" "Eleven" "Twelve" "Thirteen. The end!" Dino ended the head counts. "And I'm here." Haneul added.

"Okay, good! We're leaving now. We're going through the forest. They won't be able to trace our scent if they're nearby. Haneul stay close." S.Coups reminded her. "I'll stay with my brother." She smiled. S.Coups looked at her coldly before he looked at Mingyu. "Keep your eyes on her." S.Coups warned Mingyu. He nodded.

"Let's go!" S.Coups was the first one to leave the house, followed by the others. Dino suddenly sighed, "We've been living in this house for such a long time. Can't believe we're leaving now." He said. Haneul looked at him, "I was raised in this house, oppa. Do you think I won't be sad?" She said to him. Mingyu patted her head, "Don't worry. We'll return back, someday in future." He smiled at Haneul. She sighed, "I hope so." With that the house was left dark and empty as they headed to a place they don't even know.
