When I was little I used to jump into bed and wrap myself in a blanket, so that I would be safe from the "monster under the bed who is just about to grab me..." Well...I still do that sometimes...
Seriously though...it's not like the "monster" is going to say, "oh no, she's got a blanky around her. Can't attack her, she's protected!"
