Chapter 22

{Izuku Midoriya p.o.v.}
"You visited Uraraka in the hospital?"
"Yeah, I haven't seen her since then though. But I heard she got released so she's probably just resting at home."
I look at All Might and he has a kawaii facial expression.
"What are you doing?"
"YOU VISITED YOUR CRUSH AND IT'S SO ADORABLE!!!"
"I'M HER FRIEND OF COURSE I WOULD! CALM DOWN!"
He keeps gushing about it and I huff and see Rozu, "Hey! Rozu!"
She smiles and goes to us. "Hey All Might and Izuku. I was just looking for you."
"You were?"
"I wanted to tell you that I saved your friends a little bit ago. They were held captive as hostages downstairs in The League Of Villains' base. I located them after All Might told me about it and took them through one of my portals. I transferred them to the beach but they're probably somewhere else all together by now."
"Was Uraraka there?"
"Hm? There was a girl there with short brown hair and blush cheeks if that's who you mean."
I tighten my fists and look down in fury.
How dare they take her and hurt her again.
"Young Midoriya," I snap out of it and look up at him, "Save your anger for when we fight. Don't use it now."
I nod and look at Rozu, "Thank you."
"No problem. See ya." She leaves and we keep walking.
"They weren't kidding when they said they'd take everyone in the group if I didn't turn myself in to them."
"Don't you dare think about it."
"I'm not. I'm just really worried about who's going to get hurt next."
"We're going to save everyone. YOU'RE going to save everyone too. It'll be okay. I don't smile for nothing."
I smile a bit and nod, "All Might."
"Hm?"
"It's time for a meeting with the team."

"I can't believe you want us to fight those guys."
"I know, I know, it's kind of reckless but it's the best way to keep all of the citizens out of the way. If the villains don't hurt anyone else then everything will be fine."
"But you want us to practically sacrifice ourselves by taking them on all on our own!"
"Yeah! A small group against The League!? That's suicide! There's supposed to be an army remember!?"
"Ribbit, they could've been just bluffing. There's probably only 10 of them like usual. If there were more, then they would've proved it already."
I sigh, "I know we can do this guys. We've fought great before against other villains that were in the League, and we're still alive now, aren't we? We're a great team and I know we can do well. If I didn't believe in us then I wouldn't have called this meeting."
They all look at each other and mumble their thoughts. I look at All Might and he nods at me. I know that he sees greatness in us, so I should see it too.
"If any one of you wants to back out now, then do it. I won't stop you and you won't be judged. Just know that you're from U.A. and that you're being trained to be a pro hero and I want you guys to remember that. Anyone can be a hero. And it's alright to be afraid."
Uraraka stands up in pride, "Let's do it!"
Everyone cheers and stands up too, I smile and see Kirishima standing up but not in pride, in anger.
What's up with him?
"But guys, I just got a girlfriend. I don't want to die yet."
We all stare at Mineta, "YOUR HAND DOESN'T COUNT AS A GIRLFRIEND!"
"WHY NOT!?"
They all slap him and he gets dizzy.
"Well then, it's settled. Thank you guys."
They leave and I walk up to Uraraka, "Hey, do you know what's wrong with Kirishima?"
She gets nervous but tells me anyway, "And Todoroki thinks they're going to force him to join by compelling him."
"Compelling?"
"I know, I didn't think it existed either. But I guess it's their last shot to make him join them."
"This is bad. If he joins under their control, just imagine what he'll do to the city."
"It'll be a ticking time bomb."
"Precisely."
