Chapter 43

{Izuku Midoriya p.o.v}

We walk up to the club doors and I turn to the group, "Now, act appropriate and stick with the plan."
They all look at Kacchan, "Screw you guys, I'm not an idiot."
"But you do tend to go against plans and do things on your own, which sometimes gets you and others into trouble."
"SHUT UP KAMINARI! I'LL KILL YOU!"
"Kacchan! We can't say each others names out loud! Someone could be listening!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
Walking inside, the security stops us and checks our IDs, "Go ahead."
We walk around everyone and they're already getting party crazy for just now opening.
"This is how adults are? This place just opened and they're already lit."
"Sero, you're an idiot."
We all walk up to the bar and sit normally. The bartender walks up to us while cleaning a glass, "What can I get y'all?"
They all look at me like I'm supposed to know a plan for this, "Um, nonalcoholic."
"Tons of alcohol? Got it."
"Wait, no!" He walks away and I huff.
It's too loud in here for him to fully understand what I said.
"Okay guys, apparently we're getting actual alcohol so please don't drink it or not a lot at least."

"All of you are drunk!? I told you specifically not to!"
They're all laughing and tripping, I facepalm and Iida is nearly having a stroke from shock.
"HOW COULD Y'ALL BE SO IRRESPONSIBLE!? THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO ACT CHILDISH AND ABSURD! WE CAME HERE FOR A REASON!"
Kaminari laughs, "Take a load off rep and chill for once."
I look over at Todoroki, he's quiet but you can tell he's out of it.
HIM TOO!?
Kirishima is laughing with Kacchan and they're talking loudly over the music, "Dude, dude! We're totally going to be trashed in the morning!"
The music stops and changes to another song. Rather Be by Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glyne.
Oh no. Kacchan loves this song!
I hear Kacchan slightly gasp as he hears the song. He gets off the chair and gives his glass to Kirishima, "Hold my drink."
"Where are you going?"
"This is my jam."
We all follow him and he goes to the dancefloor.
No no no.
Kirishima stands by me, "I didn't know he dances."
"Not willingly. It's the alcohol that's making him do it now." I gulp.
Kacchan starts dancing to the song like a boss, as if he's been planning this his whole life.
"K-KACCHAN!?"
Mineta's purple balls suddenly pop off his head and I look down at him, "Um Mineta?"
"This is shocking to see."
"I know but uh your head..?"
"I'm so shocked, that my balls just dropped."
"...What?"
Everyone in the place watches him and they cheer. Our group gets their phones out and record him while clapping too and chanting "Kacchan!"
I glance over but do a double take when I see Todoroki laughing and having a good time while watching Kacchan.
He's....smiling! I have to remember this!
I get out my phone real quick and take a picture of him.
As soon as the song is over, the song Every time We Touch by Cascada comes on.
Kaminari and Sero gasp while looking at each other, "HELL YES!"
NOT THEM TOO!?
Uraraka cheers while looking terribly drunk.
I knew this was a bad plan. All Might is going to be so disappointed in me.
Kaminari and Sero rush to the dancefloor once Kacchan leaves it, and they start dancing to the song like they planned this whole thing out too.
How many times did all of them go over the dances for moments like this?
The group records them too and I can't handle the shock from all of this at once and faint.

"Deku? Are you okay?"
I wake up to Uraraka staring at me while I'm laying down. "Where am I?"
"Outside the club, you fainted so Iida and I brought you outside for fresh air."
"Guys we didn't even pay attention to the villain."
"Actually, that's the thing we need to tell you. We got information."
"You did? How?"
"Iida and Tsu saw her go to the restroom and she dropped a paper on the way there. They picked it up and she wrote where the attack will be held and the quirks that will be used against us."
I sit up and they help me, "That's perfect! Wait, where's the rest of the group?"
"Still inside, but the club closes in 5 minutes anyway so."
"Good, they've done enough."
"Also the bar bill is $200."
"WHAT!?"
I pay for it before we leave the club and go to the training room, "I can't believe you guys actually got drunk after I specifically said not to. You guys can't control yourselves when it comes to decisions."
They all lay on the floor and fall asleep.
"THEY'RE ASLEEP!?"
"I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A BAD IDEA, MIDORIYA!" Iida waves his arms around my face.
I huff, "I know, Iida. There was nothing else we could do to spy on her though. Plus, you found something useful. So something good came out of it at least."
We help them all get home as secretive as possible and when I'm walking back home, All Might pops out wearing a coat.
"Where have you been, Midoriya? I've been looking everywhere for you!"
"Ummm, about that."

"You're brave and dumb."
"Huh?"
"You're brave for doing something like that for spying on a villain. But dumb to let the group get drunk."
"I know, and thanks for taking Kacchan's handcuffs off for the plan."
"But also, I heard you all in the training room earlier. Thank you for doing this to help me and the other heroes. You all are already pro heroes in my eyes for all of the brave things you've done together before. And no one in U.A. would have the guts to do this but you guys. I'm proud."
"You're not mad?"
"A bit. I'm more proud though, that I picked the right person for the One For All quirk."
I wipe my eyes, "Thank you."
"Okay, what did I say about crying. You can't cry all the time when you have my quirk. It's awkward."
"Hey, you can't blame me. You're touching."
He laughs and he walks with me to my house, "We also have evidence from the villain."
"What is it?"
I give him the paper and he nods, "Well done, Midoriya. You're doing a good job everyday."
"Thanks!"
"Well except for recently."
"Annnnd I thanked you too early."
He laughs again before I go inside quietly and go to my room, flopping on my bed and putting my fist in the air.
Plus Ultra.

"Deku."
"Hey, Kacchan."
"I heard you have a lead from Tenshi."
"Yeah, a paper we found at the club."
"I just wanted to say congratulations."
"Thanks-"
"On being an idiot."
"Huh?"
"It's fake."
"What do you mean?"
"You really thought she'd make something so obvious and make it possible to find? I made that note and gave it to her."
I clench my fists, "Why."
"I AM in The League Of Villains after all. You're not going to win this fight, none of you. But I know your plans now."
"Since we're discussing surprises, our plan is fake too."
"Excuse me?"
"You said it yourself, you ARE in The League Of Villains. We made a fake plan so that you don't know the real one. We're not that dumb, we're 1-A after all. Right?"
"I'll get you for this, Deku. You're my first kill during the battle."
He leaves and I let out my breath that I didn't know I was holding in.
I didn't think that would actually work.
