{Izuku Midoriya p.o.v.}
A couple of months later, school is going to start soon. I have more muscles than I used to, that's for sure. I've been training with All Might everyday without breaks, and it's been Hell, but also beneficial.
"You did well this summer, Midoriya. I'm proud of you. You're a lot stronger than you were and you're going to make that quirk yours really soon. Your body won't break as easily now but the longer you use it, it will start breaking down."
"I understand. Thank you for everything, All Might."
"No need to thank me."
"No really, without you, I wouldn't even have this quirk in the first place."
He smiles and nods.
"All Might, do you ever worry that the country saw you in your weak phase?"
"I was, but I'm not anymore. Like I said to you, fighting for people even if they don't deserve it and saving lives everyday is what makes a true hero. And if people think you need to be big and attractive in order to be a hero, then they're in the wrong."
I nod, that's definitely true. He's so confident about things and it makes me confident as well. I'm definitely more proud of who I am than I used to be.

School starts tomorrow and I don't think I'm ready to face Kacchan again. He doesn't scare me as much as he used to, ever since that fight in the alley, but he's still intimidating once in a while.
"Izuku, do you have everything you need for school?"
"Yes, mom. I'm ready."
"I know you're going to be good again. Nothing scares my little Izuku anymore." She kisses my head and I smile. She's the best mom ever.
Am I ready though?

I walk to school and everyone is walking into U.A.. I stop and stare at it, this is going to be harder  now that I'm a second year.
"Deku!"
I turn and see Uraraka waving at me. I smile and she walks to me, I haven't seen anyone from school the whole summer so it's good to see a familiar face finally.
"How was your summer?"
"Good. I trained everyday actually."
"I can tell. You seem buffer honestly and a bit taller."
I chuckle, "How was your-"
I get cut off when Hatsume comes out of nowhere like a ghost.
"Uraraka! It's been sooo long since I've seen you! You look even prettier than last time, and a bit bigger if you know what I mean." She smirks while holding one of Uraraka's boobs. I laugh a little nervously and look away, scratching the back of my head while Uraraka's face is red in embarrassment. Hatsume really has no filter at all.
"I've been working on my babies alllll summer and you're going to think they're awesome when I show them sometime. How was your summer, guys?"
Uraraka stutters a little after what just awkwardly happened, "Um I trained 5 days a week and went to France as well."
"That's so awesome! What about you, Midoriya?"
"Ummm, I trained as well."
"Wow, you guys are really committed."
The bell rings and we go to our classes. Uraraka sits by me and literally everyone is in our class from last year. "Not much changed with the roll, huh."
I see Todoroki, Iida, Bakugo, Asui and the others. Well that makes everything easier at least. Aizawa walks in and looks as done as always.
"I'm your teacher. Again. So yea."
I look at Uraraka and she just shrugs. Some things really never do change I guess.
"I know some teachers will give you a break and do small tasks just because summer ended, but we're going to be training instead like we're supposed to. So everyone get into your U.A. uniform and we'll go to the field and you'll throw the ball as far as you can like last year to see your progress and if you've improved over the summer."
On the way to the field, Uraraka and I have small talk. "So what did you train yourself on, Uraraka?"
"Combat mostly. But also having stronger gravity ability so my quirk will last longer than last time. What did you train on?"
"Just strength and combat as well. Other things too, of course."
We get to the field and stand in the area of where we're going to throw the ball.
"Okay, the first group is; Aoyama, Ashido, Asui, and Bakugo."
They all throw the ball one at a time, some were the same as last year. Then Bakugo threw his; "Take this!" And of course, it's way more powerful than last year.
"The next group; Hagakure, Iida, Jiro, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Koda"
They all go and the results are about the same as well, Kirishima did better though.
"How was that, Bakugo!?" Kacchan shrugs; "It was fine."
"Next; Midoriya, Mineta, Ojiro, Sato, Sero, and Shoji."
Everyone is doing better actually, I'm pretty shocked honestly.
I go to the platform and take a deep breath. Please don't embarrass yourself again.
I throw it and the ball actually goes flying farther than I expected.
"Awesome, Deku!" Uraraka high fives me and I smile, I look at Bakugo and he has a evil look in his eyes. I get a little nervous and look away.
"Todoroki, Tokoyami, Uraraka, and Yaoyorozu"
Todoroki was the most powerful in that group. No doubt his dad probably pushed him all summer and I feel really bad about his past. When he explained everything, it really made me upset. He didn't deserve what happened to him at all.
"So, the best results are; Bakugo, Kaminari, Kirishima, Midoriya, Shoji, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Uraraka. The rest of you are a little better than last year, but still need to train harder."
"All right, Uraraka!"
"Deku, you did so much better than me." She nervous laughs and we walk back to class.

Later on, we're walking to lunch and I stop to go to the restroom. "I'll meet you there, Uraraka." She nods and leaves so I go into the restroom to do my business, but when I'm washing my hands, another pair grabs my shoulders, slamming me against the wall.
"You stupid Deku! What do you think you're doing!?"
"K-Kacchan!?"
"If you think you're going to be number one, you're dead wrong. I looked at the distance scores and yours was one point lower than mine. You're not better than me and you never will be!"
"I-I was just throwing the ball, Kacchan! I'm not trying to be better than anyone!"
"Bull crap! Whatever you're trying to prove or pull, it's not going to work on me!"
"I'm not trying to do anything! Honest!"
He lets go and rolls his eyes, "You're right. Like a Deku like you would ever do anything right. You're a waste of my time and space." He leaves and I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding in. Good thing I used the restroom first.
I go to lunch and sit with Uraraka, Iida, Asui, and Mineta. Uraraka looks at me as I'm eating, "Are you okay, Deku? You look troubled or something."
"No, I'm fine. Haha." I keep eating and she looks at me a little longer but nods and keeps eating.
This is going to be a long year.
