Chapter 24

{Eijiro Kirishima p.o.v.}
How dare they.... how dare they compel him and force him to join them. How dare they mess with his mind. How dare they even touch him.
Hitting my fist on the concrete in anger, I'm laying on it in the middle of the night. I wipe my eyes in the elbow part of my shirt to get rid of the tears and sniffle standing up.
"Kirishima?"
I look up and see All Might and Midoriya.
"Young Kirishima, are you alright? What's the matter, boy?"
I look back down at the ground and I'm trembling, from sadness and anger.
"Kirishima? Your hands, they're bleeding. Are you okay?"
I look at my hands, then hit the ground so hard that they are bleeding. I didn't even notice, but I don't even care.
"They....Katsuki..."
"What? Kirishima, you're mumbling."
"Katsuki. He's gone."
"Gone?"
"The League. They compelled him to join and his mind is just gone."
"They compelled Kacchan? Todoroki was right."
"He's going to help. Help kill All Might and defeat you and help take over Japan. I saw him myself a few minutes ago. That's why I'm crying. His mind...is gone. You should've seen him. His eyes were empty."
All Might puts a hand on my shoulder.
"It's going to be okay, Kirishima. I am here and he's going to be fine. This will be solved in no time."
I grab the chest part of his shirt and my face is close to his, my body full of rage.
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING OLD MAN!?"
"Kirishima!?" Midoriya tries to pull me off.
"ARE YOU!? HE'S WITH THEM NOW! THEY DID MORE THAN FORCE! THEY KIDNAPPED US AND HELD US HOSTAGE FOR HOURS! THEY TOOK HIM WHILE HE WAS UNCONSCIOUS AND WAITED FOR HIM TO WAKE UP! I SAW THE ROPE MARKS ON HIS ARMS! WE ALL GOT SAVED BY A RANDOM CHICK AND HE WAS STILL THERE! WE COULDN'T SAVE HIM! AND BECAUSE OF THAT, HE GOT COMPELLED TO JOIN! THEY'RE GOING AFTER ALL OF US AND HE'S HELPING WITH NO CHOICE! HE'S A LIVING BOMB IN JAPAN NOW AND WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! IS THIS REACHING YOUR SMILING MIND!? WE! ARE! GOING! TO! DIE!!!!!"
Midoriya finally pushes me off and I fall on my butt, right back where I started. I look down and start crying again quietly.
"I just....I just want my friend back. My best friend. His face was so blank, and his eyes had no soul in them. I want him back! I don't want anything else!"
They just stare at me in silence and I weep silently on the sidewalk.
"He's not going to do anything. We will stop The League Of Villains and no one will be taking over Japan. You, us, and the whole group, are going to get him back. I promise you that, Young Kirishima."
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
"I can keep this one." I look up at him and he's holding out his hand, I take it and stand back up. I look at Midoriya and there's sentimental written all over him, I hug him hard and he hesitantly hugs me back softly, I knew it was because he didn't expect it.
"We're going to get Kacchan back, Kirishima. We're all going to take them down together as well. That's a promise."
"Thank you....Midoriya."
I pull away and All Might still has that same old smile. Wiping my face once again, I bow to them apologetically and leave. Walking to the beach to try to calm down, I go over to the wall and write on it with my bloody fingers. Afterwards I wash them off in the ocean.
"I'll get him back. I thought I was mad before, but it doesn't compare to how I feel now." I stand up and look at the city lights behind me, putting my fist in the air.
"I'M COMING FOR YOU SHIGARAKI!!! YOU HEAR ME!? I'M COMING FOR YOU!!!!"

"Hmmmm, interesting. Hehehe"
