Life was unbearable. Sometimes, it's even worse than that when you have siblings.

"Sun, get up," A voice rang through my room. I picked my head up and saw my twin, Jeremy, poking his head into my room. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and wore a green hoodie and black pants. He was probably a My Chemical Romance kid... hopefully that's self explanatory. My twin was always an open person to me since I was the one who took care of him most. I never really criticized him for his coping methods and even joined him on high trips once in a while. Sometimes.

"Seriously, get the hell up before I eat the last Pop-Tart."

"Touch my food and you're dead Jer," I responded, grabbing a pillow and throwing it at him. All I want is sleep. It's all I've wanted all summer.

"I'm sooo scared." He mocked. "C'mon, get up. I have to go back to being dead inside, y' know?" Jer chuckled. I rolled my eyes at the boy, who crossed his arms and left. What an ass.

I groaned and got up, fixing my black tank top and leggings. I walked over to my room door and closed it, then picked out an outfit, and began my morning routine. (outfit above) "Bun or no bun? I'll change it anyway." I hummed and grabbed my makeup bag, then proceeded to put on mascara and highlight, curling my lashes. I sprinted downstairs, knowing I was late. "Woah woah woah, slow the hell down. We still have like five minutes." Jeremy scoffed. "Oh." I sighed.

After examining my brother's outfit (which was literally so basic. a green shirt and black jeans.) I decided to play around. "Jeremy. That's...quite a choice. Let me fix your hair." I smirked, messing it up. "Fuck you." He whined, going to the kitchen.

"Is there coffee?" He asked, his expression hardening. "Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" Jenna offered, running around the kitchen. "I'm good." Elena hugged me, her little sister, and grabbed a cup of coffee for herself. Jeremy took it from her. "Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?"

"Jen, we are good. You said you had a presentation today...?" I reminded and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, then leaned against the white cabinet. "Oh uh yeah. I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at...now. Crap!" The redhead groaned, rushing away. "We'll be fine. You okay?" Elena looked at our brother, her face dropping from a smile. "Don't start." Jeremy scoffed and left.
"Dumbass."
"Shut up, Sun." Elena smacked the back of my head. Bitch. "You might've skipped a grade, but you're still a kid so please don't talk back. Now come on, we have to see Bonnie."
I grumbled and grabbed my backpack, confidence deflating.

"So Grams is telling me I'm psychic...." Bonnie ranted to us sisters. I really didn't want to be in a car. Not after everything. Seth offered to pick me up on a motorcycle, but Elena never allowed me near him. She thought he was a "manwhore" and "manipulative bitch" but that never stopped me from talking to him at school.

"Our ancestors were from Salem, witches and all that, I know, crazy, but she's going on and on about it, and I'm like, but this woman in a home already! But then I started thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted Heath Ledger, and I still think Florida will break off and turn into little resort islands...Elena! Back in the car!" Bonnie huffed.

"Oh my god, I swear if you make her repeat any of that, I am running myself over with a bus," I said from the backseat.
"I did it again, didn't I? I--I'm sorry, Bonnie. You were telling me that..." Elena disregarded my comment.

"I'm psychic," Bonnie said, annoyed. "Fine, predict something about me." I raised an eyebrow. "Okay fine: you are a bitch who'll attract every guy in our grade, thus leaving Elena and me to die on 'loner island'."
I giggled, even Elena did.

"Right. Okay, then predict something. About me." Elena smiled. "I see..."

I rolled my eyes and looked out the dashboard window, seeing a black crow approached the silver car. "WATCH OUT," I screamed, hiding in my sleeves from the approaching bird Bonnie pulled away after the bird crashed into the car.
"Elena, are you okay?!" Bonnie said. I panted and looked at my sister. I began unbuckling my seatbelt and I wrapped my arms around my sister's shoulders for support. Elena hugged my arms and nodded. "It's okay. I'm fine." She whispered.

"It was like a bird or something. It came out of nowhere." Bonnie explained. "Really, I can't be freaked out by cars for the rest of my life."
"I predict this year is going to be kick-ass. And I predict all the sad and dark times are over and you are going to be beyond happy." Bonnie smiled.
"Damn and all I got was that I'm gonna be a boner magnet." I scoffed. Elena slapped her arms. I laughed and buckled back in, then grabbed my phone.

I looked at a stop sign and saw at the crow perched on top. I'm not sure why, but I waved at it and smiled. Surprisingly, the bird tilted its head back. I shrugged and turned back to my phone.

After we disbanded, I joined Seth in the halls, hugging him and letting him kiss the top of my head as usual. He was there for me through everything really. He even beat a kid up for me once. We walked to my locker and we talked for a bit before he joined his friends again.

Bonnie and Elena soon joined me, along with Caroline minutes later. Caroline and I weren't close, but sometimes I could tolerate her.

"Elena. Oh, my god." Caroline hugged my older sister. I'm here too. I also lost my parents but like fuck me. I thought. "How are you? Oh, it's so good to see you. How is she? Is she good?" Caroline checked in with Elena and Bonnie. "Caroline, I'm right here. And I'm fine. Thank you." Elena smiled, giving me an apologetic smile. "Really?"
"Yes. Much better."
"Oh, you poor thing." Caroline hugged Elena and sighed. "You okay?" She looked at me. "Peachy," I responded and closed my locker, and walked towards the office to pick up my schedule.

I followed in behind a man in a leather jacket and shades, his blonde hair standing up and feet apart.
He began talking slow and such so I sat down and admired him.

He seemed older, so I knew to kind of back off but just because I can't touch, doesn't mean I can't stare. He all of a sudden turned around and smirked at me, then turned back around. I felt my face turn pink and I lowered my head to contain the girlish giggles that were going to escape my lips. Who was this guy?
