It's my third day of school at this new school and I'm still finding my way.

I walk to my class surprised that I found it and seen Josh waving for me to sit with him.

"Wassup slime." Josh says to me.

"Listen, Im not one of your homeboys. Keep yourself in check." I sass at him.

"Damn, all I called you was slime." Josh exclaim.

"That's the problem." I say rolling my eyes at him.

"Ayy hop off my mans." I hear a voice say.

I turn to the table in front of us to see the cute guy with curly hair.

"For real she being all defensive and shit." Josh mumbles.

I hold up my hand. "Come again? Do I know you?" I ask.

"I mean you should but no you don't know me." He says.

"Let's keep it that way." I sass at him.

Josh starts laughing holding up his hand to his face. "Damn, that's tough my guy." He says laughing.

The guy smiles at me. "It's like that?" He asks licking his lips.

"Did I look like I was playing?" I say leaning my head to the side.

The guy just laughs and smiles. He continues to write on his paper. "The name is Jalen Green, sweetheart." He says still writing on his paper.

He stops writing and leans back on his chair. "Don't forget it, baby." He says winking at me.

I chuckle, shake my head, and roll my eyes.

For some reason I couldn't find my 4th period class. I've been walking around the same places and I was getting annoyed.

"Fuck!" I whisper.

"Need help?" I hear a voice say.

I jump and drop my books.

I sigh. "No. I don't need your help." I say squatting down picking up my books.

"Really to me it looks like you're having a hard time." He says laughing.

I look at him and roll my eyes.

"Not struggling." I say.

"Come on stop being stubborn!" He says laughing.

"I'm not I just don't want to talk to you." I say walking off.

"You're going the wrong way." He says.

I turn around as he laughs at me.

"Okay, maybe I am struggling. Can you take me to my class?" I ask.
