I was at early practice. It's this thing me and my boys do to warm up our shots before practice. But today I was too busy for that.

"I know, right? Sexy as hell." Scottie says from behind me.
I jump of fear as the boys laugh at me.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"The question is what are you doing? Stalking new girl isn't smooth, bro." Scottie says.
I sigh.
"You need to be focused on basketball. You haven't even warmed up yet and practice starts in 15 minutes, dude." Josh says.
"Yeah, you right." I say putting my phone down and getting up picking up a basketball.
"So wassup which you and ole girl?" Scottie asks as he shoots the ball.
"Her name is Makenna and nothing we're literally... nothing." I say coming to the realization.
"Why you so obsessed, my guy?" Josh asks.
"I'm not obsessed. She's just on my mind all the time for some reason." I say.
"Yeah, that doesn't sound obsessed at all." Scottie says.
"Ay man, lets not get on your case." I say to Scottie.
Me and Josh look at each other laughing.
"Oh so that's funny? Ight bet." Scottie says.
"Alright, boys it's practice time." Our coach says.

"What the fuck?" I say myself.
"What's up?" Olivia asks.
"How did Jalen get my Insta if I haven't gave it to him?" I ask.
"I don't know.. maybe he was searching for it." Olivia says.
"I still find it weird." I say.
"Well you should find it cute.. because Jalen totally likes you." Maddie says.
"Yeah ight." I say going back on my phone.
