I stare at Jalen in hatred.

It's like I hate him but I still want to believe that all of this is fake.

"You know staring at him isn't gonna change anything." Olivia says.

"Yeah, whatever." I say sighing looking at the board.

"You know you should really hear him out." She says.

I roll my eyes and try to listen to the teacher.

"Seriously, maybe it's not what it seems." She says.

"Olivia it was on camera for god's sake... phone don't lie." I say.

"Yeah but the people that control phones do." She says.

"Who side are you on?" I ask finally looking at her.

"I'm not on anybody's side i'm just saying... hear him out." She says.

I look at her then look at Jalen who's looking at us.

"Olivia, what do you know that I don't?" I ask her.

"If you listen to Jalen.. you'll know just as much as me." Olivia says turning to the teacher. 

I look at Jalen to noticing him still looking but he looks down.

why do I feel bad all of a sudden?

"Fine. I'll talk to him." I say.

"Yeah, I really doubt that." Liv says.

As the bell rings I walk to my locker, but gets pulled into the janitor's closet.

"What the-" I say.

I turn and see Jalen in front of me.

I roll my eyes and try to leave the room.
But his strong body grabs my arm and stops me.

"Listen to me." He says.

"Fine. You have 4 minutes." I say.

He was about to start talking, but I quickly stopped him.
I look at my Apple Watch and start a timer.

"You really got a timer?" He says laughing.

"You're time is ticking." I say seriously.

"Listen, what you saw on that video was not what I said. It was edited and I know it looked pretty believable but it's not real."

"Olivia it was on camera for god's sake... phone don't lie." I say.

"Yeah but the people that control phones do." Olivia says.

So that's what Liv meant.

"She's been out to get because she's jealous of you and I'm sorry for that. I really don't know how else to explain it, but I really hope you believe me. I would never say those things about you because I think so highly of you. You're cool people's." He says.
