This is when Sam was in middle school and Dean was in highschool. Sam is 13 and Dean is 17. But the story is focused on Sam.

Y/N p.o.v:

You sighed as the kids passed you in the hallway. You wished for at least one person to acknowledge your existence. You felt sad knowing they never would. You followed some other kids that were headed to the English room. You sat in the back of the classroom. You watched as the teacher started on where commas should go and where they shouldn't. Suddenly, the door open and in came a new kid. You stood up and watched him walk towards the teacher with a note.
"Sorry I'm late. I'm new." He said. You subconsciously smiled at him. He was kinda cute. But God knows he'd never like you. You were technically 33 years old, but stuck frozen at the age you died. You were 13 years old forever. You were horribly bullied in the year 1976. These girls thought it would be cool to bash your head into the sink multiple times in the bathroom. They let you die there and then ran crying to the teachers. The girls got away with it. You stayed at the school because you were stuck here. You were a ghost. You watched as the new kid started to introduce himself.
"I'm Sam Winchester." He said. The teacher forced the other kids to say hi to him. He then walked towards where you were. He said down in the chair next to the one you had been currently sitting in. You sat down next to him and stared at him. He looked around and then shivered. It happened anytime you were close to someone. He stopped shivering and looked like he realized something. You wished you knew what though. You looked at him questioningly. The day went on like any other. It was driving you insane, but you didn't let it get to you. You followed Sam all day until the final bell rang. You felt the sadness creeping and started to think quickly. You used to wear glasses. You wondered if you were attached to them. You ran to the lost and found where they sat with other lost things. You grabbed them, but didn't pick them up. You thought of the girls that murdered you and felt the anger surge through you. You picked them up, actually doing it this time, and ran back to Sam. He was walking out of the school. You slipped them into the pocket of his backpack and waited to see if you would teleport to where he was going. And you did. You were in a car with another guy.
"Hey, Sammy. How was it?" He asked. Sam just huffed in annoyance. You saw the other guy purse his lips. They didn't speak to each other for the rest of the ride. You stayed with Sam and his family for a while. They moved around a lot. After a while, you started showing yourself to Sam. He grew on you. At first he was kind of freaked that you had been with him for so long, but he didn't tell his dad or brother.
"You've followed me for how long?" He asked. You sighed.
"A couple weeks." You responded softly. Sam looked down at his lap as he thought.
"I'm going to let you stay, but if my brother or my dad find out, that's when you need to finally go." He said. You nodded with a small smile. You'd actually be able to stay. Another week passed by and you and Sam were stuck in a boring motel as John and Dean went on a hunt. His brother said it was too dangerous for Sam to go on. You had watched Sam argue with his brother for a good few minutes before finally agreeing.
"So what do you want to do today?" You asked. You guys did a lot together. It made the both of you feel less alone. Sam shrugged.
"We have to stay here, so there isn't much we can do." He said. You sighed sadly. You guys eventually found a game you both enjoyed playing that lasted hours. Neither you or Sam noticed when the Impala showed up and Dean walked in. Your head snapped up as Dean dropped his bag and stared at you. You looked immediately to Sam and saw his face drop.
"Sammy, get away." Dean said. You watched Sam shake his head.
"She's my friend, Dean." He protested. You stood up and smiled sadly towards Sam.
"Cats outta the bag huh, Sammy?" You joked painfully. Sam stared at you with a sad face. He knew he was gonna have to say goodbye.
"Sam, would you mind telling me what the hell is going on?" His brother asked.
"On one of the hunts, the school I went to Y/N had died in. She took a liking to me and put the thing she was attached to in my bag. She's been with us for a while. But I told her, and she agreed, that if you or Dad found out, that's when she had to go." He explained. Dean hummed as he understood. You sighed before nodding towards Sam. Sam stood up and hugged you.
"I don't want you to go, Y/N. You made me feel less alone." He whispered. If you could cry, you probably would be right now.
"It's okay, I'll be alright." You said as you let go of him. Sam grabbed your glasses and put them in the trash bin. Dean grabbed the salt and lighter. You waved goodbye to Sam before his brother threw the lighter in the bin and watched as your glasses began to melt. You went up in flames and disappeared, leaving Sam crying softly, looking away from his older brother.

A/N:

So I got the urge to put a chapter up because someone messaged me with a request (it wasn't this one) and I decided it'd be a good time to come back. I've been in a really bad place and haven't wanted to update this book whatsoever. But I'm back! Kinda lol. It might be a while before I get back into the swing of things, but I'm gonna try. I hope this chapter was okay. I might rewrite some of it.
