It's been two weeks, fourteen days, and five hours since Jimin's behavior started affecting the long twenty years worth of friendship. Taehyung tried to talk it out with his two month older friend but nothing worked. No confrontations or confessions exchanged. Their relationship became so fragile that even little pointless things were triggering.
The brunette's sigh was heavy. His eyes scanning the outside world through the window. He was sat at cafeteria that was down the street and was currently slurping strawberry milkshake, his emotionless eyes watching as two kids have arms around each other's shoulders, walking with joyous smiles.
Ding~ Ding~
His notifications were going off and he tried his best to give it no mind but he couldn't help it when his thoughts slipped to the dms he's been receiving. All his so called friends are accusing him of committing a huge sin, going against god and of course being a faggot.
He was so against the marriage for this only reason. He even got death threats from random students from his college. He's surprised they haven't reached his house to sabotage it yet.
His father isn't any better. He knew his father to be a patient and generous man but guess he was wrong. 'You should do this, do that.' He sure as hell is tired of these words.
He can't even attend his extra classes anymore because of this whole marriage ridiculousness.
Kim Taehyung. His name. Will it change? Will he become Jeon Taehyung or will it be Kim Jeongguk? He chuckles to himself at the thought. It's Korea, surnames don't change after marriage. He sometimes wished he was living in western countries, at least the hate would've been ten times lesser.
The bell rings from the push of the door, Taehyung's eyes instantly travels to the person who caused it. Jeongguk, he's here.
He raises his arm in the air when the younger starts to scan the place with his gaze. They both planned to meet here to talk about the marriage situation. They have been talking and texting from time to time but nothing too explicit.
Their eyes connect and soon Jeongguk is sitting himself down on the seat across the older.
Taehyung couldn't help but stare. He really was infatuated by the male in front of him.
"Hi!", the younger greets, without a smile. Strange. As long as the older remembers the raven haired male always greets with a smile.
"Hey!", the brunette replies, not so enthusiastic himself.
"Dad announced that our marriage will be a week earlier. Have you heard about it?"
Oh, yes he did. It was annoying and frustrating.
"Yeah, I know. I even heard we both have to take dance classes to improve the art of slow dance.", Taehyung informs with a angered chuckle and an eye roll. "Can you believe this bullshit?"
Jeongguk says nothing but lean back at his chair more. He has a frown dancing on his face. He was beyond furious.
"It is totally ridiculous. Engagement, marriage and now even the dance classes. For what? for the headlines of gay marriage of the biggest CEO's sons. Love marriage even at that.", Jeongguk barks with venom present in every word present in tone. "What fucking bullshit is this?"
The older breaths out shakily, his hand rubbing at his forehand, wanting the pressure to fall off.
Soon he covers his face with both his palms as tears start forming on his eyeballs. He can't take it. The hate, his relationships breaking, and most of all this marriage. He wants all of it to end."Taehyung, hey are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine.", he breaths out, straightening up on his seat. He could see the frustration that very certainly has been pent up within Jeongguk but the same was for him. "Should we leave to get our fitted suits?"
