Chapter 34

I am captivated for a long time. I do not know how long. Because there are no windows. The candle shines light into this dark room. It keeps shining. I am thinking about most things like Noor, future and what am I going to do. But the most difficult thing is claiming that General June and the men which captivated me here and bought me from Jim and Jonah are the ones who killed my family and attacked the royal palace. They are the revolutionaries. I cannot believe that the leader of the revolutionaries is General June. It is worse for me too because he knows me. I am afraid of him. All that can happen is up to you, Noor.

What is going to happen next?

Knock Knock

The door opens and General June comes in.

'Are you hungry?' he asks me.

'A bit.' I whisper.

'Take it.' he says.

He starts eating in front of me.

'General June...' I call him.

'What? Do not you see that I am eating right now?' he asks furiously.

'Did Noor respond?' I ask him.

'Not yet. Why do you ask?' he asks again.

'Nothing.' I say.

Since this answer, I was quiet until...

'Leader!' someone calls General June.

'Yes, I am here! 'June shouts back.

Someone I do not know enter this room with a letter in his hand.

'The king of Micao send letter already.' he announces.

'He is quick.' says June.

Someone comes closer to his leader and gives him the letter he was holding in his left hand. General June took the letter. He is done eating.

'So maybe I should look at it now...' he is thinking about opening the letter now.

'It has passed three days, has not it? 'the man asks.

'Maybe. I did not count them.' June says.

He did not count so how he can know which is the seventh day? He was going to just choose a day and say this is the last day to respond Noor or something like that?

General June opens the letter and reads:

The Revolutionaries you asked me for an answer so here you have it.

I do not care for your setting.

I will decide by myself when the sun is going to set

And when is going to rise to the sky.

The one who I love will be safe and sound.

My enemies are going down by the arrow I will shoot at them.

I do not give you my title, I will be king of Micao.

And to keep it I will give you anything.

But as I said at the beginning I am going to

decide what I will give you not you.

It sounds like a mysterious answer.

The stupid one wants to fight me,

the clever one let me and my possessions were.

Who are you I want to know a stupid man or clever owl?

'You married some weirdo or poet. Poet is better. I wanted a straight answer and he sent me this poet's garbage! 'June tells me.

'But even so, he let me decide his answer because every man can understand this kind of stuff otherwise. So it is like saying do what you want to do. And I understand it like he wants the title but not you, his wife. I heard that he has many concubines. He married you only for the title that was all. He is smart after all, I know he would want to keep his title but a wife? Who would want to keep that monster in your house? Women are good only for bed and care. Only they can take care of us. The men who hard fight on the battlefield. The one who would keep women and give up his title that one should call himself stupid one! But I am wise like the elderly are. And I must say you might be a flaw in my plan from the start but your actions like marrying this prince of Rouka or just got caught by Jim and Jonah, all that your actions make me happy and my plan is stronger than I thought it can be. But for you your actions are unfortunate. It will kill you. You will be killed soon. But your death wants many people to see and they are going to arrive five days from now. So we will wait. Enjoy your last days, Princess Leonora.' he says.

He grabs a plate from which he was eating and he throws it on me.

'Lick it if you are hungry.' he says and with a laugh, he leaves.

Was he so cruel when I was younger or he got cruel by those revolutionaries?

I miss Noor's voice. Maybe he is the one I fear the most but he is even the man I can believe the most. I do not feel good with those people. It is not because they keep hurting me by their words or by their hits. It is because they are bad people. I do not like bad people. They are cruel, they are playing with emotions. Noor, even he was playing some game and the main prize was Micao he and his soldiers made less bad than those revolutionaries.

And one more difference: Noor cares for women feelings and he wanted to help me when I was in hurt but those they want women only to keep them feeling good. And then they left them in their trash.

Those people I do not like.

I am still thinking about him.

Noor...

He is a mysterious type again. I hardly can understand what did he mean by this answer. His words are not so opened for me to understand them. Maybe it can be helpful to start thinking as Noor do. Maybe I am his wife but we know each other not so much time so it is hard to understand every word he had written in that letter.

I can predict what these words can be in Noor's head but I already have known that it is not so easy for me to predict the meaning of Noor's words. The most confusing part of that letter is this one:

I do not give you my title, I will be king of Micao.

And to keep it I will give you anything.

But as I said at the beginning I am going to decide what

I will give you not you.
