Chapter 22

I am lying in bed. Where is Noor? Did he leave?

I am looking around to assure about his absence. But after turning around my head I see him.

He is lying next to me!!!!

Be calm. It is okay.

Ouch.

I feel pain under my abdomen. Wait if I feel pain there it means that we do it...

I trusted him. I... I am so upset right now. I want to run away and do not see him for a while. I want to be alone. I cannot trust him. He is lying. He is lying all the time.

But why did he do this with me? He loves to do it with his mistresses. But why with me? I am not beautiful or honey so sweet to show how good I am. So why?

No, I cannot be here any second. I want to get out of here and I am going to do it.

His hand is around my waist. I get from his grasp. He is mumbling something. But I did not listen to him. I take some scarf or something like that which I see around and put that on me. So I am not naked but less.

I am approaching the door. My hand is at the doorknob. I open the door.

'Where are you going, Leonora?' he asks me.

'To my room.' I say.

'You will stay here with me.' he says.

'I do not want to.' I say.

'I am your husband, Leonora.' he says.

'I cannot trust you.' I say.

'Why? ' he asks approaching me.

'You took my virginity away last night.' I say.

'Consummation is the tradition. Nothing special.' he says.

'You did...' I try to say something more but I do not end the sentence and run away.

I am running through the corridors and I am holding tight the cloth I have around my naked body.

Few metres and I am in front of my room. I open the door and enter it quickly. The door is closed by me very quickly. Never know when someone is following you. NOOOR!

'I am your husband, Leonora.' he says.

Noor. Yes, you are my husband. But I am not your doll.

'You will stay here with me.' he says.

Maybe he does not know where I am hiding now...

'To my room.' I say.

You are stupid, Lea! You told him the direct address for him. I sit at my bed and I am thinking. Alone with Noor. I was alone with him and here I am in pain and hiding away from him. I thought that I can trust him but I understand that I cannot. He took away my virginity YESTERDAY. I dress into my nightdress. I was cold.

After two hours:

Knock Knock

'Who is it?' I ask.

'Ave.' she says.

'Can I come in?' she asks.

'Are you alone?' I ask.

'Yes.' she answers.

'Yes, you can come in.' I say.

She enters with a plate of food.

'I bring food for you, Miss.' she says.

'Thank you, but I am not hungry.' I say. I am in pain. I do not want to eat.

'Noor sent you, did not he?' I ask her.

She is quiet but then...

'Yes, Miss.' she says.

'Can you please tell him that I do not want his presence or preoccupation?' I tell her.

'I can, Miss. But Sir would be angry after hearing that.' she says.

'I do not care. I want to be alone. And IF he did not want to respect my wishes he would learn it. I do not like he's playing with me.' I say.

'Yes, Miss.' she says very sadly.

'If he will be angry at you, send him to me.' I say.

She nodded and leaves the room.

I get into my bed and get a blanket over my body. My legs are cold.

Knock Knock

'Who is it? ' I ask.

But before someone answers, I heard steps are approaching me. I turn around and see Noor.

'What are you doing here?' I ask him.

'Ave, tell me your message. So I am here.' he says.

'I told her that I want to be alone.' I say.

'Yes, she told me that.' he says.

'So why...' I started asking a question.

'I do not know why are you angry or have this mood. Maybe I would let you be alone but if you defied food. I cannot. ' he says.

'I am used to it.' I say.

'Maybe you are used to it. But I do not prefer this way.' he says.

'This is my life.' I say.

'Yes, but I am your husband.' he says and lifts me. He is carrying me somewhere.

It is a cantine. He sits with me at the chair and kisses my head. In front of me is a plate of food which Ave brought to my room.

'Eat.' he says.

I shook my hand.

'Eat.' he says.

I ignored him.

I am looking down. I do not want to look into his eyes.

But suddenly I see him like he is leaning with the fork. Fork ended in my mouth.

'Eat.' he says and I did as he says. I swallowed a portion of food from the fork.

He keeps continuing and I am swallowing and swallowing. Until all food of plate is in my mouth.

'Next time you will eat by yourself.' he says.

He gets up from the chair he was sitting at with me on his lap and he leaves with me in his arms the cantine.

'Noor, where are we going?' I ask.

'You wanted to see Sian, did not you?' he asks.

And I nodded happily.

After a while, we are standing in front of the infirmary. Noor opens the door and then I see him.

SIAN!!!
