Broken || Yoonmin (Depressed Yoongi)

Jimin's POV

Jin and I were waiting outside of Yoongi's hospital room, waiting impatiently for the doctors to finish stitching his wrists up. Yoongi had lost a lot of blood so they were also doing a blood transfusion.

Namjoon had to explain what happened to our manager and PD nim. He texted both Jin and I, saying he packed a bag for us and also cleaned up the bathroom floor, aswell as calling Yoongi's parents who are coming from Daegu.

After a while, the other four members rushed in the hospital, along with our manager aswell.

"How is he?" Taehyung asked, still shaken up.

"He's still unconscious I suppose" I said, then I noticed that Tae had the note in his hand.

"D-did you read th-that?" I asked.

"No, but I think we all should read it, together" he said, looking at all of us in the eyes. We nodded in response, but before we could read it the doctors came out of Yoongi's room. We all bowed to them.

"Yoongi is stable now, we gave him some morphine for the pain and he's sleeping right now" the doctor said and we all sighed in relief.

"That's a relief, thank you, when can we see him?" Jin asked.

"You can see him now, but he might not wake up for a few hours. We also need to speak with him and we need to keep him in for 3 days as a precaution so he will get some help" we just nodded and bowed again.

"Yoongi's parents are here, they just parked outside" Namjoon said after a moment, looking at his phone. I felt my heart race, they are going to hate us after this.

Namjoons POV

I made my way out to the lobby and greeted Yoongi's parents. I was expecting to get scolded for failing as a leader by Yoongi's mother.

"Namjoon ah, it's been a while. How is our Yoongi doing now?" Mr Min asked.

"He's stable now, he's sleeping because of the morphine" I said looking at the ground, not being able to look at them in the eyes. I was surprised as Mrs Min hugged me, then I lead them both up to Yoongi's room.

"It's not your fault, it's nobody's fault. Honestly, this isn't the first time this has happened" she said as we met the other members.

"He's been like this before?" Jimin asked.

"Yes, we almost lost him last time, he overdosed and went into a coma. Then music became a part of his life, it saved him. He kept telling us that he was going to become successful even when he was a trainee. We didn't support his choice at first, but then he became so passionate about it"

"Why hasn't he told us about him having depression?" Jungkook asked, biting his nails.

"Well, everyone knows that mental illnesses is a taboo subject here, he thought he was crazy and everyone would hate him. That's why he never really talked about his past much in interviews" Mr Min explained.

"When he was around 16, after his first attempt we admitted him into a psychiatric ward for 3 weeks, it hurt both of us to see him suffering so much and not doing well in school. He hated us for a while after it, saying that we must have been so glad to get rid of him. That was the only way we knew how to help him, nobody talks about what to do as parents in that situation. It's hard, we love him dearly and we are thankful that he is still with us. I don't know what we would do if we lost him for good" Mrs Min said with tears in her eyes.

"I knew he was having problems, but I never knew it was this bad" Hoseok said with a sad expression.

"You guys should go in and see him, we will wait out here until he wakes up" Mr Min said, putting his hand in my shoulder and giving me a reassuring smile.
